not bad for getting green jersey for that day

With yesterday's results, now I've secured Yellow overall. Only one user could tie with me in points by getting all seven pointers in what remains of the competition, which is very unlikely to happen, specially considering I shouldn't score a single point in the same gap to keep the tie. I'm also runner-up for Blue, though that one won't be a given until the very last day.

Knowing how tough real life will be in these last days, I may very well rest. I could still aim at the 200 points or other things in the Hall of Fame, but I don't think those goals will motivate me enough to postpone real life plans for a bit longer. Aiming to keep 3rd overall would be nice, but I'm a bit low at stamina right now so as to protect the gap and I don't see myself getting much better during the weekend. And well, top 3 in Red would require both effort and luck, so I'm dropping that one as well.

This is one of the first days lately when no 8120 at least kept the gap with rainbow as it stood the day before. It surely required added effort from him, seeing the results, though that enabled him to stay close to the lead. We may not see heated action, but a close battle like this one will surely be interesting until the very end. Who knows, maybe no 8120 will pass the leader in the very last day, effectively wearing Rainbow throughout November after not wearing it a single day in October!

no 8120 vs SacredShadow; who will win?

Well, looks like I managed to keep the gap with Yuna and be right at the gates of 200 points. Let's see if I manage to break that barrier today, because 250 could be a bit out of reach.

I'm just 11 points away from top 3 overall in Red, so it might be perfectly possible to get it. Still, I'm not really going to step up my game all that much, real life is being tougher than ever because of politicians. I'll still be getting points, and maybe I could aim one day to get that Red jersey I need to enter the top 10 most Red jerseys in the Hall of Fame, so if that puts me closer to the top 3 let it be welcome.

Kind of nice to see a third user placing for white, been a while since we last saw that. However, he placed by pure chance with a very low score, which is why it isn't really great news to see it. Still, it's good to see that there are new users active around here, so let's hope they stay active for a long while.

Even the competition isn't very fierce, in a way, the competition (at least for me) is unrelenting in the sense that I haven't been able to take a single day off without worry of no 8120 passing me. What I find funny is that he is getting points just by doing his job each day. I don't think (I could be wrong here) he is purposefully trying to win even though he's held 2nd place and is dominating in red and green jersey.

I'm hoping I can keep him at bay for these last few days of TDV. It's been one heck of a competition without being all that competitive.

One of the slowest days ever.

Looks like I'm managing the gap with Yuna quite well. Yesterday I was able to surpass 200 points and only concede 3, so I still have good chances of maintaining that third overall. I also got closer to top 3 in overall Red, though I'll need to step up again if I want it because my staff role won't be of any help these remaining days.

The battle for Rainbow rages on, as the gap is now at 14 points between both contestants. Looks like the intrusion of outsiders is meddling with this battle and turning it into the current leader's favor, so while the gap won't ever be very big it could end up being definitive.

While the thread title is very much true, yesterday we also had confirmation on the winner of all four jerseys because SacredShadow mathematically secured Blue. Up to yesterday two other users had chances of still reaching him, but those chances have vanished completely now. White is also pretty much decided, not mathematically but virtually, and so Rainbow is right now the only real open fight.

I'd like to hit 100 points in blue if possible. More importantly, it would be great if I could widen the gap for rainbow, even if only a little.

With the way today's results are turning out though, I think my lead will either remain constant or slightly decrease. While it's always possible for someone to climb up late in the day, I think no 8120 has a very solid chance to net 10 points and secure first place in red and green today. I might come close to 10 points today, but I can easily see the 14 point gap dropping back to 10-12 if no 8120's place in green and red hold for the rest of the night.

Numbers and letters.

Even though I didn't do much yesterday, I managed to keep the gap with Yuna. I might try a bit harder today, I have something in mind to help a friend that could allow me to extend a bit that gap if possible with just the last couple of days remaining.

The battle for Rainbow keeps on going. Both contenders are scoring very regularly and also close to each other. Today Red will have some competition, which limits the chances of one of the contenders, so outsiders could really participate in the final outcome in days like this one.

I might try one final push for Red, though it's going to be hard. I don't think I'll have time for anything on the 31st, so I must set everything for the worst case scenario. I also have some Hall of Fame goals that could motivate me further, though they're a bit easier for not having any direct competition and thus I don't mind leaving them to be checked off in January.

Close competition between no 8120 and SacredShadow.

Wow, the results came very early today. Looks like the hype for rainbow is very real lol

I'm surprised by the big numbers we saw yesterday in Red. Quantities that could get you the jersey in the past days, and maybe even a seven pointer, were now only for a fourth place. Such a shame the rest of jerseys didn't show equally high results, but at least now the competition will be a bit more lively during its final days.

With yesterday's result, I can now say goodbye to the top 3 in Red. I'm still in the fight but my chances are very low, mostly because it doesn't depend entirely on me. Seeing how the competition is going, I'll need very high numbers to fulfill my part while SacredShadow will have an easier time to do his part, so I'm not on the winning side. I'll have to try a bit harder next time I see a window of opportunity.

I didn't manage to extend the gap on Yuna, but luckily I was able to protect my advantage and concede just one point in a day where she placed quite high. I'm not sure of my chances of protecting said gap because I don't have much free time left this last couple of days, but I'm not giving up overall podium without a fight.

I got the blue jersey with 10 posts. Damn. I remember needing 30+ just to finish in the top 5 a few years ago.

I'm too late to do any damage this TdV, but maybe I'll participate in January. Bring some challenge back, to the blue and yellow jerseys at least.

It's unbelievable how close the gap for rainbow has become in the past few days. Due to school and a heavy homework load, the amount of time I have and the number of points separating no 8120 and myself has fluctuated.

Thankfully, I've recently finished a lot of big assignments and tests which leaves me with a little more time to ensure that the gap between us doesn't narrow any further. Even if I only manage to scrape by with a few points today and tomorrow, I should still be okay overall.

Last day of competition!

Looks like Rainbow is almost decided. Judging by what we've seen all along, no 8120 only has a maximum of 14 points at his disposal which can turn into 10 with enough external interference, and that's not enough for the gap he has to reduce. SacredShadow has enough with winning Blue today, and a single point in Red or Green or even the seven pointer in Blue will totally decide the battle in his favor if his rival doesn't get points in the other jerseys.

Even in a slow day like yesterday, when I ultimately decided to focus more in real life, I managed to extend a bit the gap with Yuna. I'm still not safe, though the gap is big enough that I only need a good placing in a couple jerseys to get the job done. I'd love to hold that podium overall after today, while it's true that competition has been mostly dead you have to be up there to take the chance.

Looks like I won't be able to reach the Hall of Fame goals I had set myself to earn. Unless an "external interference" kicks in doing his job to "benefit my interests" I won't get the last Red jersey I need to break the three-way tie keeping me out of the top 10 for most Red jerseys, and if I don't manage to get any jersey at all I won't make it to the top 20 in total jerseys. Other goals which weren't expected just two weeks ago, like being top 10 in most Yellow jerseys and top 15 in total points, will now be plausible next year, though the latter will need some effort as I'm 92 points away from that and I won't reduce it much after today.

It's been a fun ride all month long. Staying in the ballot just in case opportunities arose has reported me great dividends and I'll make sure to follow suit in any future edition I can be a part of to see what can I recollect. For example, I have no top 10 finish in Winter competitions, so there goes the first goal I could pursue just two months from now!

I'm back from falling off the board for a week or however long it's been XD Happy Halloween!

I've been so focused on my TASing grind that I haven't even checked this thread. I'm happy to see the competition between no 8120 and SacredShadow has been fierce all this time! :O

It's absolutely insane the amount of points no 8120 has in the green jersey.
