Well, I didn't hope to score points yesterday due to being out, but a bit of luck and my wordy nature allowed me to place.

Due to a sad turn of events, it looks like I could manage to get runner-up for overall Yellow. The only real threat that is realplayer is on another level compared to me, and I don't see me getting up to that level. Things can still turn and twist in so many ways, but it's not like I can focus much on this competition due to real life.

In the overall ranking, I guess I'll have to see realplayer flying by to get 3rd place, or who knows if even higher than that. At my pace, I don't see me getting farther than 4th, and let's see if we don't have another user scoring like crazy because we just hit halfway into the TdV. Top 5 is already a massive result for me, so I'll try to score regularly to secure it and protect my position from unexpected threats.

Now, this is a very interesting scenario. I've never been this serious in a TdV, which I am right now.

I'm currently aiming for 1st in Yellow and Blue but I'm not sure if I'll hit the top 3 overall. I'm currently on a streak
and fully able to post, unlike many others including EX Palen and Shadow.

What I am worried about and fully aware of is my burn-out even though I have been running for several days. I'm focusing quite well even though I have a lot of things going on so let's hope I can keep this up. 

Sorry, EX Palen: but I'm definitely hoping to exceed your position in this TdV, not bring you down, of course, that's unsportsmanlike behaviour, but at least if I can earn the top 5 that would be an accomplishment.

Also, SacredShadow: that's kinda unfortunate, had you not been away for a few days you may still be able to catch up if able. Oh well, second and third is still in grasp! Keep at it!

My biggest threat right now has got to be no 8120, he's a beast, and practically earning CP points left and right. I hope I'm able to pass him by submitting two 1k word reviews per day, that should work and will increase my word count. I'm just worried for burnout.

Oh well, hopefully, the next few days go well! Friday is going to be rough, I'm going out and won't be back till late but I'll manage.

I am usually not attentive with the Tour de Vizzed as I formerly was, since I am mostly commenting for help on an important and urgent situation.

realplayer109 : No worries, you're not bringing me down. I'm keeping up my usual activity, I'm not doing anything special because of TdV, so if I place it's because nobody else is actually trying to do things. That's why my goals are directed either towards the Hall of Fame for all time results or towards a personal level for self-accomplishments.

You passing no 8120 is very unlikely. He's indeed a beast in two jerseys, and even though that limits his daily earnings to a total of 14 points he's almost always getting 10+ points. You have half of the competition to reduce a nearly 70 points deficit to a participant like him, meaning you must reduce an average of 5 points a day to pass him, so while not impossible it indeed would require a very huge effort from you.

My suggestion is that you keep up your current pace until you become 3rd overall. From there on you have a big gap to reduce, so it would be a good timing to re-think your strategy to avoid burnouts. By that time you should be 1st in Yellow already, so more reasons to call for a technical timeout

Yay, a newbie scoring points and being able to hold the White Banner until the end! No better way to end the first half of the competition!

Yesterday, again, I managed some points despite being overly tired for all the weekend's stress. At this rate, if SacredShadow has indeed stopped participating or even aiming for overall Blue, I might have chances to pass him and still keep a spot in the podium after realplayer passes me. The gap is quite big, so I should probably step up a bit even on my bad days because every single point matters from now on.

Seeing his pace, no 8120 will most probably become skittles rainbow tomorrow with very high chances of keeping it through the whole second half of the competition. There's only one other user being overly active, but he won't be able to catch up until the very last days if he indeed manages to catch up.

EX Palen : It's a big deal because no new users scored any points in last month's Tour de Vizzed which was the first time ever so I was thinking that it might happen again. This site is lacking new users

I accidentally placed in the red jersey yesterday with all my video submitting! I didn't expect to actually earn points for that. I'm sadly not in the top 5 for blue jersey but maybe I'll fix that starting tomorrow. Today is another homework focus day, which is actually unusual for me. Many students get slammed the most on Mondays, but I don't.

It's nice to finally see a new player grab white banner midway through the competition. I'm not sure if they plan on continually participating in the competition or not, but it's nice to see the white banner finally claimed all the same. Who knows, maybe they might even face competition later on.

Well, looks like yesterday was full of surprises. Sacred came back to secure for a bit longer his rainbow and get very close to pacman to get the lead in Blue and somewhat secure getting away with something. With that, I didn't manage to reduce the gap and so I'm left 60 points behind him, meaning I'll need to score 4 more points than him everyday to tie him in points.

Looks like I'll have to accept the truth and try to get as many points as possible to secure 3rd for as long as I can. Let's see if I'll be able to compete today because my homework could get in the way, but I totally want to get at least 2nd place today in Yellow to be, even if it's just for one day, the leader of overall Yellow and top 3 in the overall ranking.

Didn't look like it at the start, but now it seems that getting in the top 10 will require relatively good results on a constant basis. I remember being 10th in previous TdVs with less points than what's now needed to stay in the chart, but it's also true that it's because we have no dominator this month and the gap between each place is rather affordable.

EX Palen : I really like seeing the more narrow gaps after how much I dominated the last TdV with competition only from Barathemos (for a little while) and no 8120. This TdV could still be either SacredShadow or no 8120's win and it's exciting to see how close no keeps getting.

I plan on putting up a few points tonight because I've been getting a leg up on my homework lately instead of starting things later like my AP Psych study guide. Which leaves me more free time that I actually earn

Pacman+Mariofan :  
This TDV will likely end up going to no 8120. If I hadn't made a foolish mistake in getting disqualified from yellow, my strongest jersey, I'd likely be close to 200 points by now. I'm not upset though, I've managed to nearly triple my rainbow banner count and grab a few other jerseys here and there as well, so its been nice in that respect.

no8120 will likely pass me tomorrow. Even if I manage to gain a few points each day, it will almost certainly be outdone by the consistent 9-10 points he's been making each day. If I'm able to keep it relatively close, I'll do my best and see where things go from there.

This is the first time I can truly say, minus users getting DQ'd, that I got a jersey without trying to. Today is Wednesday, one of my craziest days of the week, so I'm not competing today.

SacredShadow : Oh man. I think yellow is really easy to be DQ'd from when there's no competition. I've gotten DQ'd from yellow before and it was because I made a 1K word post in the last hour of the day. :/

Eeeesh, the top 5 combined for only 22 posts. This is a long way from what I remember.

Wow, yesterday was totally dead. Yellow and Blue had derisory numbers, Red and Green were "saved" by its winner but also had overall very low numbers.

Anyway, like we've said many times, this at least opens the chance for close fights. For example, 1st and 2nd are just one point away and we have 3rd to 7th in some 40 points, all of this with still two weeks to go. The overall jerseys, excepting Red and Green, aren't decided either, so there are still chances.

I managed to get overall lead in Yellow and 3rd overall, which is very nice. Not sure how long will it last, but just in case I'll fight for Red today and try to see where my wordy nature gets me. As for my other goals, I managed to tie with tRIUNE for most jerseys, and guess who's actively posting today

I should have next week a bit more free, so if I manage to keep the lead in Yellow I could try a thing or two to protect it. Might be my best chance ever to get it, though university won't accept that as an excuse to slack off

SacredShadow prevents no 8120 from taking the lead.

Well, first time I see myself with the Green Jersey, and I must say I like how it looks on me. Good thing I managed to keep it, looks like no 8120 couldn't beat my number of actions and the tie was favorable to me.

With my interference, and also with help from tornadocam, the battle for the lead is now within 4 points. Looks like there could be more than one judge in this battle besides the pace of the two contestants. The top 10 has gotten even closer now, just 45 points between 4th and 10th as we head into the last third of the competition, so we could still see many changes.

Tomorrow should be the only other day I can actively compete this week, if my business allows me to dedicate some time to this site. The weekend is going to be packed with action, so I'll be able to do very few things before Monday, when I'll decide if I gear up or not in an attempt to get closer to the top or protect my overall top 3.
