I'll go ahead and buy it. Hard for someone to step in, but if someone does the payout can be quite juicy, and after what I saw with one of my railroads I'll challenge my luck once again

It's up to MLF to ultimately decide, but given the pace of the game I'd give him the chance to be around until he wastes his "tokens" (the maximum number of turns you can skip before being expelled). This could give him some time to make his decision, since he said he's not sure he'll be around. However, like I said, it's his decision and I won't object it.

If m0ss ends up being a player, I wonder if we should alter some rules. For example, silent auctions could now be done public so we all see if m0ss is in the auction or not, because sending PMs to him would give him an edge if he's a player. Just throwing my opinion, but we still don't have MLF's verdict so maybe we could even attempt to find another player, even if the chances are very low considering how dead things are.

Nope, I am not on Discord. I'm not a fan of chats, I like to be on my own without having to constantly look at a screen or having to put myself "on stasis" while people tries to talk to me without success if I want some free time.
