Well, tbh, the rules are so confusing and i don't have enough time to read them all on the internet... I'm gonna learn how to play the official English variant first.

EDIT: Forgot to ask whether there's a downloadable variant of the game rules or not.

MarioLucarioFan64 : I hadn't considered that using the original American board might throw some people off because of the various localizations. I don't know the details of Dutch Monopoly, but it seems like most localizations just have a change in language, currency and property names.

Pretty much your current option are to roll or try making a trade with another player. I wouldn't think a trade would be likely this early in the game, but you're welcome to try. Really, my recommendation is to go ahead and roll but it's your choice. Also, I'll see if I can find a PDF of the rules so you can download it.

Also remember that there've been several auctions. If there's property that's being auctioned, you can bid on it and try to win it.

MarioLucarioFan64 : I take it then that you played under heavily modified house rules, because I don't see how could you be confused otherwise. I'm Spanish and I'm not feeling any different from the way we used to play at home (I don't remember having auctions but I have seen them in Monopoly videogames).

m0ssb3rg935 : For the next time we can try one of the custom boards of Monopoly for Wii, so either nobody or everybody is thrown off. There were things like a cheese-themed board, which would be even more fitting for Crazy House xD

Knowing in this game it takes a while to be able to do your turn again, i think i'm gonna roll then and in the meantime, gonna try to get a bit more familiar with the rules.

And just when I was wondering how to handle being the player running lowest on cash, here I get the chance to boost myself up a bit!

Not sure how are we actually supposed to claim rent. Logic says I should summon the player who landed on a space I own to tell them the good news, but we don't manage our cash here like in the real game, so maybe stating the claim to the banker so he deduces the amount from that player?

Also, we should probably add something in the OP about the rent of each space. Right now it may not serve a big purpose, but as the game progresses, constructions are built and players run low on cash we should have a source detailing which spaces are forbidden to us. I know the banker can tell us whenever we've landed on "forbidden" spaces, but knowing it beforehand will help the players to better plan their strategy.

EX Palen : I knew there was something I was forgetting to do at the beginning of the game. I updated the OP with a list of all the properties and their rent values for each stage of development. For now, St. Charles only gets you $10, but that's something.

As far as claiming rent goes, you can summon the player or just post stating that you're claiming your rent along with whatever else you'd like to do on that turn. Speaking of which... anything else before your next roll? Anything else I might've missed that should be up?
