Not everyone likes shopping. I, for one, only like shopping if it's for my friends or myself. Shopping for anyone else can be time-consuming and difficult. Finding what they'd want isn't easy most of the time.

What store did you shop at last? Did you have fun? What did you buy, and who was it for?

For me, the last place I shopped at was Barnes and Noble. I was out of town with my friend Derek, passing the time during our 2-hour wait time for The Cheesecake Factory. I didn't buy any books since, despite touring the whole store, I didn't see any that I desperately wanted to read.

However, I did buy a game! I bought the Left, Center, Right game that you play with dice and checkers. I've always loved playing that game, especially with a ton of people.

Probably Dollar General because it sells soda and is within walking distance. That was at least a month or two ago though.

I think the last store I shopped at was Walmart. I went with my dad when he was going to pick something up and I picked up some rechargeable AA batteries for our Wii remotes and wireless Playstation 2 controllers. That was maybe a week ago. I don't get out a lot.

Healthy for me? I get to enjoy the almost clean air and lovely UV rays while walking across the bad side of town and crossing a busy four lane street. So by the time I get to the store my body is fighting to resist the formation of cancer cells, I've developed a smoker's cough despite having never smoked in my life, I've been eyed by three shady looking men with guns, a bulldog showing it's teeth, and a small child with a pocket knife, and I nearly got ran over five and a half times. Then I get to walk back home! xD So the way I see it, I have at least an 89% better chance of surviving a shopping day if I shop online. :V Also I'm not just making all of this except for the four lane street up just to justify being a recluse... I promise. lol

Outside is scary. Ask safety Sammy (ten points if anyone gets the reference).

Boured : I have a friend who has a kindle fire but doesn't like Amazon. He had trouble using Amazon Prime to buy something, and then canceling it afterwards since he didn't plan on using it every month. The free shipping is something I'd be willing to go through all that for, though!

The last place I went shopping was at Kohl's last week. I noticed I was short on socks and white undershirts, so I decided to make good use of my 15% associate discount and I grabbed what I needed--it only cost me $20 dollars too. Thankfully, it wasn't incredibly busy since most of the back to school shopping had died down by that point. 90% of the time, if I need something and don't need it immediately, I just buy it online or from Amazon, it's cheaper and I don't have to deal with the hassle of long lines or screaming children. Everyone wins.

The last store I shopped at was GAME in my local area. (you guys have a GameStop over there.). It was actually my birthday surprisingly, and I had bought a Game Boy Advance SP with a handful of games just ready to be played..

Though I'll admit though, having two crappy games and two good games was a pretty dumb idea.

This time around however, I ended up buying a few different purchases. I bought two volumes of the manga, Magi (volumes 19 and 20), and a hardcover copy of Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I already have the paperback copy which I'm reading for class, but since I like the book so much, I thought I'd buy it in hardcover. I plan on getting the second (and eventually third) books in hardcover as well.

Fantasy.Castle : It's rare for my family to shop at a store where the store is out of a product we want to buy. If even one of them ran out of tea or coffee, I'm sure many people would be upset and make the drive-thru line at Starbucks way too long XD Students at my school are fortunate enough to have a Starbucks within walking distance of the school.

The last store I went to was a grocery store and I bought some vegetables to add to the lasagna I was making. I guess the trip was sort of fun because I went with a friend. lol I also bought some fruits (apples, bananas, white grapes and oranges) for dessert because my friend loves fruits. =)

I had to go to Weis yet again this week...this time I only had to buy a few cases of water since I was running low at home. I really don't like shopping at this store because ever since it became Weis (before, it was Food Lion), the variety of items they have isn't very broad. Unless it is for simple items like in this case, I try to avoid shopping there because even though it is right by my house, I am almost always met with disappointment every time I walk in.

  I last shopped at Home Hardware. It was at a garden centre location of Home Hardware and the staff lady helping people there assisted me in uncovering the obscured price of the useful item I wanted to buy. I did not find the hidden price on my own.

 I had what was to interpreted as a pleasant experience. Not a recreational activity by any means but it was all right.

 I ended up selecting an extendable arthropod swatting device to accommodate the tall ceilings and thus high walls at my abode.

Well, I went to the store earlier to get a few boxes of Pepsi. Before that store, I went and got some gas, and some pizza (by the slice) which was quite good. Now that might sound like it's gross, but it's not, it's very well made, and can even be bought by the whole, or by the slice. They have an amazing breakfast pizza that just tastes so damn good.

I just bought a ton of stuff at Rite Aid a few days ago to help with my move. Bought an extension cord, a cool aluminum wallet, some batteries, and some headphones along with a bunch of food.

The last store I recently shopped at was my local Verizon store. I recently purchased a new phone (Samsung Galaxy S8), and the guy that helped me out recommended that I buy a car charger for my phone, however, I was already paying a hefty price, so I never purchased it at the time.

So yesterday I finally went out and purchased the car charger. I don't usually charge my phone in my car, however, this will definitely come in handy for long car trips.

I went to Target on the Hill the other day to pick up snacks for my staff.  I'm a fan of Gummi Bears and that love is shared by my front desk manager.  I got a few bags for her as well.  it was money well spent and I got to eat some gummi bears.

I recently ran over to Macy's for a few going-away gifts for my lead team.  We're shutting down our building and I went to buy a pair of matching decorative scarves for the two women who ran the wellness center and the business operations portion of the gym.  The woman at the desk who sold me the scarves found out where I worked and she said she was awfully close to joining the gym because her friends went there and they highly recommended it.

I asked who her friends were.  I knew them well.  I told her some funny stories that I'm sure they wish I hadn't shared.  She laughed and found a way to get me 55% off the whole cost of the scarves.  My wife was proud I was able to get a deal for some nice pieces and save some cash at the same time.

My two ladies appreciated their gifts.

I recently did a lot of shopping at Key Food. Bought a ton of different kinds of food so I can start making good ramen and other food. I bought whole tomatoes, onions, and garlic, as well as cans of sweet corn and beans, along with 16 hot dogs and 2 dozen eggs.

I'm a home owner so I spend time at hardware stores.  Most recently I went to an Ace Hardware to pick up lightbulbs for the garage door and glue to try to fix my kids' shoes.  I took my 2 year old who loved every second of it and she wanted to wander around.  I'm all about wandering around hardware stores.  It's fun to think about what you can actually build with the things they have there.  I could do an entire playhouse with electricity and running water in the backyard for my kids if I had the extra cash on hand.

I'm limited to hardware stores, sports stores, and Meijer, a local grocery store chain, these days.  I don't have time or money for much else.

The last store I went to was a DIY store that carries all kinds of materials for arts and crafts including yarn, beads and cloth. As usual, I had lots of fun looking at everything in the store (there's just so much to see!  ) and acquiring materials for my next art projects. =)

I had to really think about it, since I don't really go shopping by myself anymore. It's either shopping with my boyfriend or my family. Went to a shoe store and finally got another pair after having worn the other for two years and fixing them a couple times with hot glue and duct tape. I could feel some back and neck pain going away just a little while after putting them on and walking around in them.

After that, we went to Walmart and I got some new t-shirts and jeans. Nothing particularly exciting but we only get to buy clothes once every year at the most, sometimes going two without.

Anyways, I just finished buying groceries at Walmart, does that count? If not, then I think the last store I actually bought something for entertainment was a small video game mom and pop store downtown where I live. I ended up buying a GBA SP and I refurbished the shell! I also bought drill dozer for $3! Can you believe that?!?

Last store I shopped at was Wal-Mart I think. I went to pick up my groceries because doing groceries at Wal-Mart is miserable. So, I just placed my order online and picked it up the next day. I am not a fan of Wal-Mart's quality of food, but after shopping at Publix for so long, it's just a rip off so I needed something more affordable. All of the other organic and quality food grocery stores nearby are very expensive as well. 

But, I did go inside to buy Roblox toys for my nephew's birthday. That was fun because it was next to the WWE toys which I always enjoy looking at  They have Halloween versions of the wrestlers now which was  pretty cool.

Well earlier I went to the store and picked up a few things like bread, and the typical groceries. But this weekend I picked up a steam card for some steam games, went to a few locally owned game stores and picked up 13 PS2 games, and 1 PS3 games between both stores.
