Does anyone still play Pokemon GO?
I used to play Pokemon GO when it came out for a month before I stopped. The only reason I stopped is that the game got only worse as the updates roll in. The Pokemon tracking in the game got worse, also lag all the time for some reason, and sometimes can't even open the game!

Putting aside the past, Pokemon GO has recently been getting pretty good updates and so I got the game back. I just got to level 20 in the game and I'm on team instinct.

So what teams are everyone else on and what the best Pokemon you caught?

It kinda looks like from my standpoint that Pokemon go has been revived a little from its grave? Or would it become really popular like it was back then after it drops its next potential update that is supposedly new legendaries and barries, etc?

I did download GO, but I discarded it because I don't go outside that often and travelling to catch Pokemon doesn't really catch my interest. I did get my mom hooked, though, and I collaborate with her whenever we're outside together. She almost uninstalled it when she ran out of Pokeballs and couldn't get more, but luckily I was there to solve the issue and have her stay tuned

For me, as well as for her, this game is just to catch Pokemon. Gyms, challenges and all that stuff are better left for the console/handheld games. What we like is to see a Pokemon standing on someone's shoulder and attempt to catch it

It didn't die, it just went to the place it was meant to be. We're in an era where everything goes viral for a while and then it's just hanging there without all those occasional players. It's like you say Candy Crush has been revived due to its series, or whatever it is, but it has always been there, getting updates and keeping players hooked. GO will stay out there and will keep receiving updates, but it won't return to its top spot because that's reserved for the newest and latest viralized game.

I like what they did with the gyms. As someone who's level 22, it really helped with coins.
Before the update, I had gained 150 coins in gyms. Yeah, total. Beyond pathetic.
Since the update, I've gained 433.
I don't know, the numbers speak for themselves. The game is more balenced for weak players.

I recently got so many notifications from the game that I decided to turn it on again. Yet to spot a gen 2 pokemon, all I can see in the distance is rattata and weedle lol

I still have it downloaded, but I hardly ever play it. And I probably won't play it until they completely overhaul the battle system. They need to let you battle other players, and trade with them too. But until then, I probably won't play it that much. I do pull it out every now and then, but it is a rare occurance. 

It's been a really long time since the last time that I played it, but a few days ago I learned about the legendary Pokemon, like how I think it's Articuno that's available until tomorrow, so I got back into the game.

I had no luck though. Couldn't find a single raid or even a gen 2 pokemon the entire time that I played.
