A lot of us have odd thoughts or spontaneous mental images right? Post 'em.

Yesterday, while we were getting ready to fry some chicken tenders, I was watching the shortening melt in the pan and there were a couple solids floating around and I got this image in my head of a chicken nugget sailing across a sea of boiling shortening on a makeshift raft of crackers in a storm, crashing into a giant Crisco-berg.

Anyway, i don't really have odd thoughts i can remember. I do am wondering the following the entire time: What would it sound like if you attach two whoopee cushions underneath your shoes/feet and then walk like that for 9 hours?

I know, it's odd, but i so want to try that. Same goes for stepping on empty metal cans like from energy drink and then let it go around you feet and then walk. Oh no, a metallic man/woman appeared.

I once had a picture in my head of a chicken with a monocle standing on top of a pig's back as they were both descending down from the light of heaven.

Every time that I'm at a sporting event and I'm sitting way up high, I always start thinking to myself "I wonder what would happen if I jump down to the next level." I don't know why, but I always think that every time.

I sometimes wonder about cats or dogs actually being mechs controlled by a very tiny alien/humanoid race.

zanderlex : I know, right? I get that thought a lot, too. It's not even a suicidal thing. Just kind of a "that would be so ninja" thought.

m0ssb3rg935 : Lol, glad I'm not alone. Also remember what I told you in comet chat? I think that's another one. About how I thought about ice skating and then falling down and having someone else skate over your fingers. I don't know what made me think of that.

I have tons of random thoughts but, one of the most common one is when all of a sudden the world turns into a Mortal Kombat elimination and I am fighting Sub Zero and our surroundings turn dark and cold- like from FL into Alaska lol. It turns into a tournament much like one of the latest games where they seem to walk around then, bump into someone, talk then, FINISH HIM!!! 

(yes I am obsessed with Mortal Kombat) and Street Fighter. I think they were very cool concepts just like Killer Instinct. 

My oddest thoughts usually surface as a result of my dreams, but I often get strange mental images by looking at photos and people's faces and then it's as if everything in the photos/pictures come to life and I see everything moving (think along the lines of those newspapers in the Harry Potter films, except I'm standing in the scenes as well). With portraits, I get mental images of people before they took the picture as well as what they look like as they continue to move after the cameras stop rolling. This is why I sometimes avoid looking at pictures with captions like, "this photo was taken seconds before they fell to their doom," because then I end up seeing the entire thing play out in my mind (I'd hear the audio, too). x_X (Content hidden from non-Trusted users!)

sometimes i like to imagine what people would look like if they were bald. i think everyone's head shape is unique and sometimes it is interesting to think how they would look without any hair on their head.

I have a few actually.
I don't actually think this anymore, but when I was younger (the last time I can recall thinking it, I was twelve) I would sometimes wonder if everyone was real. Like...what if they were all just robots or — figuratively speaking — soulless beings? What if they just did what they were supposed to, and I was the only one who felt and thought freely?
Weird. When I was in my early twenties I actually read a story like this in a book that was full of short sci-fi (and often weird) stories. In it a man was put in an asylum because he was sure that everyone, even his wife, was an actor and his world was fake (think Truman).

Another that I used to have was "Am I dead?" xD Anytime I tried to get someone's attention but they didn't acknowledge me because they were busy or something I would wonder if I was a ghost and they actually couldn't see or hear me.
Too many Goosebumps and Fright Time books I guess.


And this one I still have often: I sometimes picture myself as a video game character. I imagine this character doing exactly what I'm doing at the moment — mundane everyday things. I imagine what it would look like and how it could best be rendered to accurately depict it in a game. Like when I toss a spoon in some dishwater: how big would that splash have been rendered? How many ripples? etc. I'm perfectly normal. You're the weird ones for not thinking like this.

I remember when I was really little, like 7 I think, and I looked at the corners of walls. I used to imagine demons coming out of a portal from the wall corner.

I still have pretty odd thought while I'm in the car, usually little games like "The Car Will Explode", which usually consist of getting the car back into the shade when in forest-like areas, or next to another car on the highway, just to keep me occupied.

Just the other day, I was standing outside on the porch and my dad was feeding the cats, and for some odd reason, I thought the cat food smelled vaguely of pizza. Later in the same evening, I was taking a shower and it also smelled vaguely of pizza, and then I got this image of a tiny civilization of cook, bakers and chefs with an affinity for Italian food living in my nose.

Sleepiness ruins my thought process so hilariously bad sometimes. As I was typing this post, I started wandering into thought as I have done a lot today. I just imagined a taxi speeding to the right on a horizontal road ahead of me with nothing else there. I think that image derived from Ms. Pac-Man (Tengen) for the NES's title screen, where Blinky zooms through the screen.

My strangest/creepiest thoughts occur right when I want to go to sleep. What's even weirder is that no matter how relaxed I am when those thoughts pop up, in the middle of them, my entire body jumps. That happened while I was resting in my dad's car in the "assistant driver's seat". My dad saw that out of the corner of his eye, laughed, and asked me what had just happened.

It's like my body tells me it isn't time to dream yet because it's trying to think of something more crazy or stupid.

One image I keep getting in my mind is Vanitas from Birth By Sleep on a Motorcycle.

It´s just his outfit, combined with his helmet: It´s just perfect.
While I was playing the game, I was expecting Vanitas to just storm in on a motorcycle towards Ventus, jumping off as it smashes into him.
