Most of you have probably watched previous Games Done Quick marathons, which are week-long speedrunning events for charity. Well, Awesome Games Done Quick is starting up again soon; this Sunday in fact, and going until the following Saturday night.

What games are you guys looking forward to watching this year?

...also, shameless plug: I'm running a game again this year! I'll be doing another game from the unlicensed Christian NES game, King of Kings: The Early Years for the AwfulGDQ block.

I've never taken interest in the Games Done Quick streams, but I might be interested if it picks a game I'm really interested in. Unfortunately, the ones I enjoy are a tad obscure so I wouldn't ever think they'd actually pick them.

If they wind up speedrunning Samurai Pizza Cats on the NES I might check it out, but otherwise I doubt I'll have any time to check it out since I'll be playing games of my own and whatnot.

We'll see how it goes, I guess.

My run is currently scheduled for 3:35am EST on Thursday morning, but the times shift around as games run short or long and setup times vary, so your best bet is to check the schedule at http://gamesdonequick.com/schedule . I don't expect many people to watch at that time of night/day, but thanks in advance if you do! It's only about a five minute run, but I have something rather unique planned to go along with it which will hopefully make my run more memorable than most.

I actually don't think the incentives are up quite yet, but I'd either do the next unmet incentive or one of the slightly less popular incentives that I think would be cool. I'm not wasting it on saving/killing Super Metroid animals.

WolfQuest is the first game to have an incentive after mine, but I don't really care about bid wars or filename incentives, so I'd probably put the money towards letting Flavio tag along in TTYD or the 100% run of Shadows of the Empire assuming one of those still hasn't been met by that point.
