Tried to welcome myself back to Vizzed with a run for the blue jersey. Gamer was online at the same time and completely floored me and Lexatom today. Well played from both of them, I'm still trying to fight for at least second for the jersey even this late.

Eh, guess I'll come back in a week or so.

Wow, thanks to gamer and goodboy, who both don't often do this much, this looks like it will easily be the most active day of the month.

Hopefully, I should be able to pass David within 3 days, and then once that happens, I'll start to decide on how I want to do things from then on. Hopefully should be able to crack the 200 point mark by the end of the 20th. Beginning to run out of stuff to do for CP though.

Well, since goodboy and Lexatom have admitted defeat, looks like all I need to do is hold off zander so that I can get blue.

Davideo7 : Why did a DQ'd user show up in the blue jersey top 5 in January 14th's results? I'm guessing the new site code has something to do with it.

I'm unsure if I'll actually be able to compete today but I'm posting anyway. If I want to have a shot at ever reaching 10K posts I should hurry up! Plus I figure it might be very easy for me to score points now that it's later in the month.

I knew I got 2nd place for the Blue Jersey (clutched it late at night for you guys since it was morning here!), but I totally forgot about the Yellow one even existed but I realized I should start going for the Yellow once gamer destroyed us in Blue! I'm pretty happy with that!

EDIT: I think I even beat out Zander for the Yellow by a single 50 word post, according to the daily rankings! Wayyyy too close!

If you still got some fight left in you, don't give up yet man. 

Even if it's only for a couple more days, if you keep putting up points and zander isn't worried about the win, the Rainbow would be yours for the taking. When someone isn't trying to score, even a 50 or so point gap can be closed pretty quickly. I'd really like to see your name in that Hall of Fame man

Stuff happened.

It sure did.

So I decide to take the day off today and then I log in with 75% of the day gone only to see that there's literally no competition, so might as well try to score a bit, maybe I could get really close to passing David today.

Yep indeed stuff happened yesterday, that even surprised me lol. I was out the whole day, and I  just thought it was a normal day until I got back home in the evening to see it wasn't. XD

Well, I'm glad I won blue yesterday, because today, I'm sick, so I've been resting in bed most of the day.

Well, stuff did indeed happen.

And today, some other stuff might happen.

One of those things is me being a boss.

Had a crazy ton of homework from university today, so I couldn't participate today either. Probably won't for the rest of the week. Pretty glad I was part of the "stuff" that happened yesterday, though.

goodboy : You just haaaad to make that extra post didn't you? :p

I do hope you can compete again, because with just the same three users constantly competing, we usually run out of opportunities for posts, kind of like why you can see today, but then with you and gamer adding stuff, there wasn't sooo much more to do.

Well, that sort of thing tends to happen with posting competitions in general.

1 - 1-4 people serious about competing get excited and compete.
2 - A week into it, when the people less serious about competing look at the standings, realize they can't win, so don't bother, and "save themselves" for next time.
3 - The 1-4 people run out of things to really say, and pray to god for someone to come throughout the board and revive discussion.
4 - When that person comes along, a brief period of activity comes along, usually it's from someone who doesn't care about the competition, who just enjoys discussion, and it revitalizes activity across the board from even the non-competitors.
5 - This discussion dies out soon after, and it's back to step 3.

Right now, we're either in step 3 or 4. We've gotten to the point only the same 4 or so people competing, and no one else wants to post, because what's the point, but then you've got someone like me, who isn't interested in the month long competition, and just wants to post some fun things (mostly Vizzed Survivor for me today, since it's ending)

With yesterday's results, I had finally pulled it off. I now have 2572 career points, which is just a few more than David. I was hoping to pass him much sooner, but I was pretty dead when it came to the TDV during the last 3 rounds.


I can finally change things up a bit so that I don't have to kill myself as much anymore.

And I thought zanderlex was "retired" from Tour de Vizzed. I'm glad I decided to drop out when I did. Then again, my activity has been naught for the past week. I want to change that. 

I may try to get some points this week, because I did say that I wanted to finish in the Top 5. 

I retract my statement about stopping here. I made it this far and it'd just be disrespectful to myself and how far I've gotten if I quit now. I have just enough time to get past Zander, so we'll see how it goes. Here's to hoping for Lex in the Hall of Fame???
