New York has been a nightmare, constantly alternating between intense heat and intense rain multiple times a week. On Saturday there were three different big thunderstorms in a 12 hour period and then it's supposed to rain three more times in the next 5 days. Plus a little more than a week ago there was massive flooding during a big thunderstorm which took place 12 hours before the remnants of a tropical storm hit.

The sun has been so hot lately but luckily with air conditioning I would say it's been manageable inside though I seriously question how Europeans make it through the summer since from my understanding most countries over there don't have air conditioning built into their houses.

Intense heat looks like is giving us a break. Today felt noticeably cooler, still hot but with enough wind to make the home comfortable. The wind also feels relatively cold, maybe this can signal some rain incoming because we haven't had much since May or even earlier.

I'm not sure how long can this last, being so close to August, but I must admit I was having trouble sleeping these past days because of the heat. I hope that the cooler temperatures will allow me to get the decent sleep I need.

SonicOlmstead : That's because most European countries don't have scorching summers nor have extremely high levels of humidity, therefore there's no need for such devices. Plus, I'm sure the air isn't as hot, which means a fan can do the work just fine to cool up the place.

We at home have made it the last few summers without the air conditioning, even though we have it installed. True is that we don't live in the hottest regions of the country, but we do have high humidity and temperatures above 90 F quite frequently. I guess we've grown accustomed to this, who knows.

Finally the heat hasn't really been noticeable inside at all thankfully which makes life a much more comfortable time. I'm not sure how long I can really go feeling that way but I'm sure if I was outside my opinion of the heat would be way worse.

EX Palen : I see I guess as hot as Ian or well Furret talked about it being lately I would just expect it to be hot enough where you guys would need air conditioning though he's also said that it's only been the past couple years where it's been so hot over there due to global warming.

All the bad weather has finally started going away. We had maybe 18 different storms during the first 21 days of July but it's been sunny for the last week so that's been a nice change. That's going to change soon though because there's supposed to be our 4th heat wave of the summer starting within the next few days.

It's begun to rain a lot down here in the Southern States:tm:,
and even if it's annoying I have to say I'm kinda happy that it drops the temperature to a bearable amount.
I've been hearing plenty of talk from users on discord that Europe is really hot right now, so I'm thankful for whatever rain I can get.

The weather has finally changed for good. Today wasn't sunny at all and the wind was quite chilly, so it was perfect to go outside. I almost thought I needed a light jacket at first.

Heavy lightning earlier tonight signaled the severe rainstorm that is falling right now. A much needed pouring, it's been too many months since the last one.

Let's see how longer does this temperature decrease last, because August is coming right around the corner and it's normally scorching hot.

The weather has been a complete mess over the last week+. Two weekends ago there was a hurricane that made landfall in my state. The hurricane itself hit on Sunday but all the rain and wind hit Saturday night, all day Sunday, and then almost all day Monday. Then last Saturday it ended up being really cold and I got sick as a result and then today there's another storm going on that's supposed to last until tomorrow morning.

It's been scorching hot lately... not making walking around on campus any easier, especially considering the distance between classes. I could use the extra walking and extra sweating though, I've gotten a bit out of shape during quarantine and hopefully the combination of the weather and the long walks will accelerate my weight loss.

I've also heard there's supposedly hurricanes coming, but that's just normal Florida for you. I'm not worried.

Things been cold but I heard it’s going to warm up soon after this whole freezing weather faded away. Hopefully it won’t be like Christmas where it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit outside yeesh

The wether has been terrible for the last week. On Saturday it was lightly raining the whole day with a downpour at night and I was out there whole day so I woke up really sick on Sunday. On Wednesday I was supposed to go to the dentist and when I woke up, it was raining a lot again, and then today it snowed overnight and left around 5-6 inches.

Legit around 20-24 hours of precipitation in a 7 day stretch.

It's been pretty good recently actually. A little rain here and there but that's to be expected where I live. My biggest complaint is the strong winds that sometimes cause my doors to slam shut when the window is open.

The weather has been perfectly cold for this month in Ohio I really enjoy the freezing cold as I've certainly stated here before since it's the only time I can be almost certain that I can go outside and not think it's super hot though even with that being said I have been wearing shorts outside in the snow this past week and I've honestly thought it felt like there was a slight cold breeze so as always my body's resistance to cold is still intact I guess.

I guess I haven't noticed since my room at our house is well heated but my dorm room is under the roof on the 4th floor and it is absolutely freezing right now.

I do love hearing the rain hit the roof above me but the temperature has dropped so much. Makes sense given we are smack in the middle of winter but damn. Can't even get out of bed without my feet freezing as they touch the frozen floor.

well it's going to be better than it was last week or the last little while when there was a cold snap. Also I think it's snowing right now, and to be honest we need the snow because there was a drought on my end of the planet last summer and farmers really suffered for it and when that happens restaurants suffer for it and then certain menu items aren't available due to supply issues.

I really want to be feeling this mild weather for the end of the month because I don't want to go out if it's going to be cold because there's a book I wish to buy and if I can't get it there I would have to get it from a different place closer to home

I feel like my toes are going to fall off from frostbite right now. The whole night I've been shivering which makes it kind of hard to hold my pen and write lol.

Let me tell you....

The running joke for Wisconsin is this: "If you don't like the weather right now, wait 10 minutes"

I'm not sure how it is in Prescott, Wisconsin as I have never been there (I've been close) I would assume it's roughly the same as Wisconsin. Cold and s***ty in the winter, Davideo7 can weigh in on that. Personally I hate the cold/snow. Ideally I'd have a winter home somewhere warm. xD

And heaven forbid they mention 'Polar Vortex'.... run, and run right away.

Today it was just super misty outside. The fog was so thick that I could only see like maybe 10 feet ahead of me. I've always found fog really fascinating. It's like you're living in a cloud, or the whole world is now in a filter. When my dad picked me up from the train station and we were riding home we could barely see past the car in front of us. Quite scary tbh on the road. If someone doesn't have their lights on (including people like cyclists) you really can't see them until they're already right in front of your vehicle.

As it got dark the fog was still there. I was looking outside and everything was so cozy looking with the street lights illuminating the fog.

It's supposed to be super nice tomorrow but I don't want to go anywhere for I have a gaming video to film tomorrow, like I have to do a reshoot due to circumstances I don't want to go into deep detail about. I'm in good standing on youtube though

The mist of the past two days has vanished. It feels nice being able to see the other side of the street lol.

Supposedly today will be a pretty warm day for the time of year so I'll look forward to it.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
