The weather has been pretty chaotic here over the last two weeks. There were a couple days where it was really hot, then there was a couple days where it was really cold. Plus around 4 days ago it was snowing for a few hours and there was a big thunderstorm at one point. The weather couldn't make up its mind this month.

It's been really.. really rainy. Not that it's far from the norm for Miami; it's always rainy, especially in the summer. Just a bit disappointing since I've been wanting to restart my fitness regimen but also feel like I need more sunlight so I'd rather do it outside than in my room.

It has been raining a lot this last month. June is always fairly rainy where I live but it seems like we've gotten rain at least half the days of the month and we had one of the worst hail storms in our cities history. I think they estimate it will result in about 1 billion in damages (I live in a city of our 1 million people). Pretty crazy. Thankfully it missed my house enough that we didn't sustain any damage.

It's been nothing but unbearably hot for the past few weeks and I hate it. I hate sweating and I can't stand the heat. Aside from being off from school and maybe going on vacation, I've never really liked summertime because of the disgusting, sticky humidity, the 5000% increase in ant, spider, and other insect activity (I know spiders are arachnids).

Even though 60-65 degrees is my ideal weather, I would gladly bear the winter cold and shovel the driveway over baking in nasty summer heat mowing the lawn and dealing with pesky mosquitoes as soon as I step outside.

It's been pretty damn hot lately. Of course, I live in Miami (as previously stated) so granted it's always hot, but this summer is especially a doozy. Luckily, the rain has died down a bit compared to the last time I posted here so I've been able to get out and exercise while getting some sunlight more often, which I've noticed has had a massive positive impact on my mood. Definitely been feeling pretty happy lately.

It's been in the upper 80s lately and seeing how I always feel like it's 20 degrees hotter than it actual is I feel like I'm always melting ;( I don't even have a AC in my room or anything I just have a fan which honestly hasn't done the worst job in the world but I miss living in a house where an AC was always in a window.

You know it's starting to cool down a little bit. It's still hot as hell but I think this is like the calm before the summer storm so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

It's been thundering a lot lately... like, the entire day today. And it's been really cloudy, looking like it's about to rain, almost threateningly so - but it just hasn't rained yet. Hopefully this will help us enter the weekend with slightly colder temperatures, which would be very welcome. We'll see how things develop, but at first it seems temperatures won't go down in the slightest. Summer is hitting hard in the days prior to August, when the full summer mode is unleashed, so we'll have to endure it.

A Tropical Storm is approaching by the weekend, so I've been preparing for that possibility. With how these storms operate, I am sure it's going to turn into a hurricane, but it's more a matter of if it'll continue to stay on the path that it's on. We've had some pretty frightening storms approach us before, but then turn way east at the very last second, which basically spares us. As a Floridian I'm not bothered by storms, but losing power would definitely be a major inconvenience.
