I mean, come on. Anyone who's played as a coach in Madden's Franchise Mode has a few. Those guys who you just loved from the first time you saw them. Maybe it was a quarterback who was strong from the start, or maybe a linebacker who had to develop. Heck, maybe it's a crappy player who you love to pick on, or maybe just love because you see him as a hard worker.

Of course, this can extend to the free agency or really any players you have on your team who you love having. So here we go.

Free Agency: Well, I was going into my second year with the Cleveland Clowns. We had managed to go 10-6 by benching Manziel and putting in Austin Davis, but I knew it wasn't enough. We had to do better. So, that first year of the free agency, my big move was grabbing QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, who I've always loved. I can't express to you the joy it was to have my favorite player on my team. The beard is just so...majestic. Well, second favorite.

See, my defense had been 20th in the league that first season, but then my favorite player went onto the trade block. You know. 99 problems? JJ Watt. Suddenly, I had the best Defense in the NFL. xD He broke Drew Brees in the super bowl, and that helped me come back against my cousin who was significantly better than me.

Anyways, moving onto the draft, this is where my core players came in.
1-Deion 'Oops' Barr: My least favorite of my favorites. I drafted him in the fourth round of my first year, hoping for a decent relief back for Chris Ivory, who I'd gotten with Ryan Fitzpatrick (woot for Jets offense). He was 58 overall, and I gave him the ball 7 times in my first 4 games. He fumbled four times. I love ripping on him though, so I keep him around lol.

2-Jorge 'Stone' Simon-I've taken to drafting the fastest WR in every draft, and this guy was 2nd, since the fastest went quick, but he was in the sixth round! Unfortunately, he was there for a reason, and can't catch an open pass to this day, but it's fun to try and develop him.

3-Johnny 'freakin' Farmer: This man. A TE I drafted to replace Gary Barnidge in the 1st round. He was 88 overall, and by the end of his regular season as a rookie, he had maxed out catch in traffic and 92 catch. When that super bowl came around, and the Bears Defense was shutting us down, he was always open, and with 213 yards and 4 TDs, plus a rush with a TD when my fullback went out, he got super bowl MVP.

4-Melvin 'Movin' the Chains' Strong: I drafted this guy in the same year as Barr, and he was 78 overall, but I trusted Barr at first. It took me awhile to give him the ball, but by the next season, he'd taken Ivory's spot, and got league MVP with twenty six hundred rushing yards, three hundred receiving yards, and twenty five rushing touchdowns. He's still only 80 overall.

5-John Garret: A quarterback who I was astounded by in the draft. I normally don't like drafting QBs, but he had A in his three scout stats, so I grabbed him. The only issue is that he's kind of injury prone, but he's extremely accurate, and I love the name.

6-Javier Gilmore-Like I said, grab the fastest receiver. 97 speed, and great at catching the ball, he's insanely good, and if he gets separation, he can go all the way.

7-Jordan Jose-I drafted him, again, in the same year as Strong and Barr, just because I liked the name. By far my favorite, at fullback, this man is unstoppable. Honestly, his blocking is sub-parr, but he's never been stopped on the 2 yard line, and he's short and fat looking. I love him. He is my favorite child. Also, despite his speed, he can make every one handed catch in the book, it's absolutely incredible, and can break out on big RAC plays. He also came in handy when Melvin Strong broke his leg for a season, and put up about 800 rushing yards with 350 receiving

So, what about you guys?
