First of all, sorry for making these kind of threads each month or 3 weeks. But i literally am seeking for help all these times.

Yesterday, i was having a deep conversation with my parents about a place i can go to when i'm done at my current therapy. (refer to my other threads) There, a man can help us further. But he knows how bad my autism is and agrees that it's impossible for me to be this non-independent and having a child at the same time.

Earlier this year, i heard i can't be independent due to my really heavy autism. Everything needs to be in clear instructions to me. And everyone and i are certain it cannot change. But at some point, i don't have people who can help me, i guess. But until then, my parents told me that i cannot raise kids by my own.

They said that i should imagine that my future girlfriend and i like each other so much, that we decide to have kids together. And after that, it indeed is going to happen, they said. But who should raise the kid(s)? I can't be independent and what if my girlfriend has autism too? I don't have a girlfriend at the moment, but my mom said "imagine that...". My parents also told me they consider disabling the function i have to actually have kids. (To put it on a 'safe' way) But they said it's up to me to choose. They are saying yes, but my mind says no. And to be honest, i am saying no as well but i was (and still am) confused about the question.

They also told me something with money and 18 years, i don't really remember. But i got worried too much thanks to the conversation. I mean... They're right, i can't have kids on my own due to a massive lack of independence, of which can't change. But what else is my goal? I have no life goals except having a happy family on my own. And that dream is gone. My life goal is ruined.

Bro, Don't lose hope! You can do anything if you just grasp for it, Don't ever doubt yourself in your ability as a person. There may be some things you can't do, and that goes for all of us. But there are so many other things to do, things to become out there! If you want to raise a family and have kids, go for it! You can always work through things! Nothing is impossible, you just need to find the solution. Don't ever lose hope man!

It is precisely because the future is unknown that you can always keep hope. That is also why you can't lose sight of your goals. Maybe you can't see a clear path to your goal right now but it is always possible that you will find a path to it later.

Dude, look at it this way. Your life, it's like a tunnel. Yeah, you can't see the light at the end now, but just keep walking and you'll get to it.
And just like a tunnel, if you search for the light you'll find it, but if you focus on the darkness, it's all you'll ever see.

As someone with a mental illness, I can relate. And I'm around a year older than you, so take my words as you will.
Honestly all I can say is...nothing is written in stone, man. You can say something like this right now, but who knows, in a few years maybe your dream will not only become true, but surpass it. But you never know if you don't try. Not to be cliche, but don't give up.

I'm not saying to completely dismiss what you are being told right now either. Take it into consideration, of course. But words alone don't control your future, you do. Take control of the life your given, with all obstacles in the way, and surpass it.
