Since epic fails appear to be in fashion again...

What are your worst gaming fails (if you ever had any)? Have you ever died somewhere in a game where retrieving the items or coins that you dropped was impossible (or near impossible)? What game did you play and where did something like this happen to you? Did you ever manage to get your items and coins back?

For me, there was this one time I was playing on our Vizzed Terraria server and I went into the Dungeon without having defeated a certain Boss first… ^^0;;

I was playing cluster truck and I did something that just cost me a lot of wasted time. For some reason, I was blasted into he air. Really high. I was falling for a good 30 seconds. Somehow I manage to land on a truck but for some reason as soon I land, my character decides to take one step to the left and falls off the truck and dies.

I have to say I think it was final fantasy 7? I came close one point to defeating emerald weapon. I thought I had everything in the bag. When all of a sudden.....he came out with this attack, that just demolished and killed my entire party.....I was left in shock really in shock.

Loosing when I was very close to winning! That sucks the worst.

Last big gaming fail I had was in Minecraft. I found and tamed a horse a while back that I used to explore a pretty wide area. I like to make copies of large maps and hang them on the wall and go and fill them out. While I was out on an expedition, I forgot to build shelter before dark and I wound up dying, losing my horse and the only set of Diamond Horse Armor I had about 3,500 blocks away, which is a long frickin' way to walk... So as far as travel goes, I'm back to square one.

Mine was probably accidentally starting to do the genocide run in Undertale for the first time. I didn't know what to do, and I thought the point of the game was to kill everyone. I felt emotionless since I knew barely anything about the game. I killed Papyrus, all the enemies, and other things. I forget what part of the game I got up into until I realized I was doing the genocide run, but of course, like any other Undertale player would, reset my save. I went through the game again, with something wrong, and I am 99 percent sure I reset AGAIN. On that run, I got to Asgore, expecting a true pacifist route Asgore not being able to attack me due to Toriel stopping him, but I realized something was wrong when he started attacking me. I tried to battle him a few times, but I had no luck, so I basically gave up on the game after that.

I have had several epic fail moments in video games. Some have come from glitches others were just me being clumsy. 

Yoshi's Island (SNES) this death was the result of a glitch. There is this one stage in a level. After being underground your supposed to rush quickly across a bridge that is time bombs. Then your supposed to jump on the falling rock and get up to another area to get the last flower in that stage. Well I did all that but I missed a jump so the Rock fell on me. Now what was strange is if I didn't move it did nothing. But once I moved the rock pulled me into the river and I drowned. I lost all my items. I didn't touch the middle ring (checkpoint) either. So I had to go back to the beginning. 

Mega Man Legends (Play Station), This one again was the result of a Glitch. After the Downtown and City Hall battles. Your supposed to go into the forest and battle the pirate tanks. Right before you go the second part of the forest. Their are two tanks there. This strange glitch causes the tanks to push you over the fence. The problem once over the fence you can't move but the tanks keep hitting you. Yeah I ended up dying. I lost all my money, and items I collected. I had to go back to my last save point. 

Mega Man 7 (SNES) I was doing good in this game. I had a lot of items and had beaten one of the tougher Robot Masters in the game. So I got lots of items and a special weapon. I was playing the game on my laptop. I moved and it caused my controller to pull out of the port. I had to put it back in. But the PC didn't recognize it as being put back in. So I had to do a complete restart. 

Mega Man X3 and Mega Man X3 (Zero Project) Well I did my Mega Man 7 fail all over again. This time it was against Neon Tiger in both X3 versions. Neon Tiger is one of the harder bosses in X3 and the Zero Hack. I moved and pulled my controller out of the port. Thus I couldn't move and was killed quickly. It was my last life too. So I had to restart. 

So yeah these are my video game fails. Some due to glitches others due to errors 

I've reached the final dungeon of Wind Waker two times, and the first time, I lost my memory card, and the second time, my file was corrupted. I don't think that I'll ever beat The Wind Waker, because I lack the patience to do it again. Maybe someday.

Oh, do I remember one time. It was a few years ago, I was playing Super Mario Galaxy 2, gotten all but one star and was finally taking on the ultimate challenge, the Grandmaster Galaxy's Perfect Run.

I died, died, died an died again and again. One time, I was so close. I got to the end, killed all 3 of the Boomerang Brothers, the Launch Star appeared which would take me to my goal, but just then, one of the Boomerangs came back and nailed me in the back, forcing me to restart the entire level. I did beat it a few tries after that though.

Almost every time I play Skyrim, I manage to die by not hitting pause to eat food or drink potions in time. Or, I just jump off of a high ledge that I think isn't as high as it is. That, or I jump into a lake and momentum manages to take me to barely touch the bottom, and die, losing about 45 minutes of progress. 

SAVING IS YOUR FRIEND IN SKYRIM!!!

Another one is that you're very close to the end and you die forcing you to restart. This happens a lot in Mario games.

I've had many of gaming fails. Falling off cliffs in Dark Souls III to just stupid ways to die in first person shooters. It happens, and most of the time, I just laugh at how stupid it can be. Hell yesterday I was winning a race on ATV Off-Road Fury and I drove into a side of a tree on the last lap, with only 3 corners to go. Yeah I felt like an idiot

Oh god, my biggest gaming fail was in a Minecraft factions server when im just goofing around with 2 of my friends after mining. It was about 2 weeks after the wipe, so we gotta mine to make some cash cash dolla you know. I got about 30 diamonds and a bunch of other ore that time, and when we going back to our base, we're crossing a ravine, and i saw a skeleton (with an enchanted bow) in the bottom of the ravine and i came up with an idea to make a bet if i hit a 360 snipe to the skeleton, my friends will give meall their diamonds, and they agreed, so i jump, 360 spin, and shot an arrow and miss, and the skeleton agro at me, shot an arrow with the bow, and it just blast me so far behind (i assume its a punch bow cause the knockback was too far) and unfortunately, i land on a lava pool and lose all of my stuff, and my friends just laugh their butt off. I take a big L that day, i lose a lot of money that day and my plan to buy some blaze spawner got delayed cause of that.

Had one not long ago when playing F-Zero GP Legend.

There's this track, Forked Town, which has a jump rather near to the start/finish line. I failed the timing to get a boost start and instead overheated the engine, resulting in a failed start. I kept going full throttle, but the machine slowed down almost to a halt, and only when it was an inch away from the jump the engine started responding.

Needless to say, an inch wasn't enough to gain speed and thus I didn't make the jump, crashing off the track and ending the race after... five seconds, at most. A hard to beat record, I know, but not a record that I'm proud of, for obvious reasons.

I have other fails, like being stripped of the best qualification time in Project CARS by less than 0.05 seconds and spin out of control in the very last corner when I was about to claim back the top spot. But well, that error came from exploring my own limits and because of nearly dead tires, something that can somewhat be bound to happen. The F-Zero fail isn't bound to happen in any possible way... yet I did it.

Another fail I just thought of was playing the game Manhunt on PlayStation 2. I've played through the game many times, and the other day I was playing it, while recording some footage for a video blog, but I got so into the game, I decided to play a ton of it, just for fun, and I was coming around the corner, and I figure I would get into some shadows and kill one of the hunters, and all of a sudden, 2 "smileys" hunters seen me and came running after me, so I got into the shadows, and I was hiding, well as one was turned around, and there back was towards me, you can do an execution kill, and I was waiting for it to get into the red, which is the most brutal execution, and he turned around, seen me, and beat the hell out of James Earl Cash the main character, after the many times I played this game, and have beaten the game, I always have that moment where I have a fail spot lol.

Also a while back I was live streaming some NES games, and I was playing Super Mario Bros, I have played through that game many times as well, and I was on World 7, and I want to say it was 7-3, and I died twice, well I thought I had 5 or 6 lives, and had 3 more left, and then the game over screen popped up, the people viewing gave me so much crap, I laughed about it obviously, but it was like...what the hell is my problem here?

I remember quite a few... like playing sonic colors and running into a jump pad and getting launched backwards at mach speed out of bounds. Then when I tried Gmod for like a week and I decided to kill someone i thought was the terrorist in TTT. I snuck behind him, started shooting, wasn't used to the knockback, and he turns around and quick scopes me. Then there's every time I played TF2... ; w;

Actually yes, countless times I've went on a long journey to a different area in a big game only to forget a specific item I needed to proceed. I also get lost in Zelda dungeons if I don't finish them in one go. It's a really heavy shamrock.

So I was battling the last person you battle in Sun/Moon, right? This was my first try and it took me 2 tries to beat them. We were both down to our last Pokemon and I decided to be an idiot and not revive any of my Pokemon because I thought I could go first and win. Of course, they went first and killed me. I was so disappointed in myself.

I forgot to save after playing Twilight Princess for an hour and a half!!! I am still slapping myself for that one.

Also, I died 5 times in a row in a level in Super Mario Brothers 2. The one where there is a small gap in the area where you fight Birdo. Yeah...That killed a great run really fast.

so i told my sister, who usually helps me out in pokemon, that i could beat a pokemon game on my own in a week or less. i tried it with pokemon black and gave up really early, partly because i'm lazy and partly because i realized just how much i sucked. i tried using lick (a ghost-type move) on the first gym leader's lillipup (a normal-type pokemon) :. smh
