Maguc : Kansas is known for it's hot and cold spells and they are also prone to severe weather all year round I think (They are one of the few midwestern states to fall in the severe weather all year round category as in severe weather all year round for them is normal unlike most midwestern states) plus they've also had their fair share of snow and ice as well.
