This enemy likes to wait until you run into motion detectors I guess that detect maverick hunters then it and all of its friends will shoot stuff at you. Fun, right? Other than that they do nothing and just wait around. They can be rather annoying though. I don’t think they can be killed so you have to deal with their shenanigans D:

They appear in Boomer Kuwanger Stage, and in the first & third Sigma Stages. The remake however didn’t put them in any Sigma Stage for some reason. I mean cmon Sigma they’re the perfect trap for X! They even have “trap” in their name! They’re mostly blue with splashes of yellow and green, and I guess they have a red crystal eye or something.

From my own playing of Mega Man X there is no way to kill them. The Rolling shield offers some protection against them. It is possible to dodge them and I have seen you tube videos of gamers being able to do it. But it takes a lot of skill to pull it off.  The main problem with these guys is you have other enemies to take out while trying to dodge these guys' beams. One of my strategy's is to use Storm Eagle's weapon to take out the enemies near these and then trying my best to dodge.

The areas where they're situated are basically the areas that I tend to take the most damage in. You know, I would be doing playing good if it weren't for these annoying things getting in my way :v.

Ugh there is so much frustration surrouding these things... I'm not too good at the game so I'm always failing and I'd pretty much fail to dodge nearly anything.
