I was really surprised by yesterday's lack of activity/competition. I really regret not setting some time aside to post....especially since it only took 12 posts to get blue jersey XD

If I can though, I would really like to set some time aside later today to go on a posting spree just to see if I can grab a few points. If nothing comes of it, I will at least be closer to reaching 6,800 posts. 

That picture of Mynamescox and yoshi is pretty hilarious, it somewhat inspires me to create art of a similar style. Perhaps I'll give it a try sometime XD

Still no new users.

Man, talk about a slow day. I could've gotten some jerseys easily if I wanted to yesterday.

It's really strange that there still have not been any new users to take the white banner this TDV. Has this ever happened in the past? I don't ever remember a TDV without someone winning the white banner. The competition this TDV has been pretty mellow for the most part, so it would be really easy for a new user to win the white banner with minimal effort. At this point in the competition I think Pokemonfan1000 will be the only person to earn points as a new user. Overall, I'm amazed that we are just now getting a competitor for the white banner over three weeks into the competition...

Yea, this is definitely the time for someone to hop in and start grabbing Jerseys if they really wanted them. Without 2nd place putting up any points, and the lead over 3rd being so drastic, there's not much need for me to have to do hardly any thing. I'm just making sure to hold on to Red and Green over all, and that's pretty much it. I might try for Blue if I start to get close enough, but that just depends on how things go.

I'll definitely be "hanging up my Jersey" so to speak if I end up winning this one too. I'm already trying to give other users a chance to win some Jerseys, and I'd feel bad to keep going after them like I have for a 3rd time in a row.

A new user joins the competition but is he actaully new?

I'm actually pretty surprised that I won red yesterday. Wasn't aware I had until a user commented on my profile about it.
At this point it's mostly just about seeing who ends up in spots three through ten. Pretty sure first and second can officially slack off now.

Well, ever since I got my 100th jersey, I've gotten a bit lazy as far as the TDV goes. I'm going to change that now.

I'm fairly certain the new user isn't new. That's all I'm saying about that.

I think at this stage we desperately need to change the white banner, because new users just flat out don't care anymore.

Below is a list of the last 4 TDVs (including this one, mind) and a list of the end of month "new user" points.

Fall 2016

In the past year, 17 points have been scored by "new" members. I have scored roughly that much in this TDV, without even being a competitor. That's 17 points combined, not 17 points for a winner. And not for one TDV, but 4 combined TDVs. The winners are averaging a little under 4 points per TDV, and that's with the new user who might not be a new user spiking the total, which may result in him not counting (in which case the average is 3).

In all of these TDVs, half haven't even had more than one competitor, and this one might not have a valid competitor at the end of the month.

It's a joke when someone with 2 points wins a banner. It's a joke when someone wins a banner with no competition. Both things are inherently possible with the system as is.

Anyways, back on topic. I am really surprised no new users charted in the TDV before me. It really shows how dead the board is this time of year with people preparing for Midterms (Or any other test before winter break) I'm sure when the winter TDV rolls around that I will most likely not be the first new user to chart since most kids should be on winter break when that rolls around.

Just a heads up...

Even if you qualify for the White Banner the first half of January, since your 90 day "New User" period will end before the month is over, you won't actually be eligible to win the White Banner (for the over all month) again. You'll still be able to increase your individual White Banner count until the 90 days are up, but unless there's a way to fit the end of 2 TdV's into a 90 day period, no one can actually win it twice. Back in Spring '16 there was a user whose 90 day period ended 1 or 2 days before the competition was over, resulting in them not being able to win the White, despite leading in it the entire month otherwise.

I got a couple blue points without aiming for it.

Maybe I can do the same today and get a few more points the other days to regain my top 10 spot :p.

That's easily the easiest 3 jersey day I've ever had. The other times I got 3 jerseys in one day, I had to fight tooth and nail just to get them, but this time it was extremely easy. I guess that shows just how dead the TDV's gotten.

Honestly anytime I score in any category but Yellow it's an accident. I like it though. Lol

I'm not sure if I can do it but I'm hoping to win overall Yellow. That would be so awesome. :3
