Besides all of the benefits of becoming a patron of my Patreon page (which I list off here), below are all of the features I plan to eventually implement. Higher pledgers will get to have some say in what I prioritize my time into and the highest pledgers get full say in how I prioritize my time.

Below is just a small list of all the future features I plan to eventually create. If I can reach the $1500 milestone on Patreon, that'll allow me to continue working on the site full time at 40-60 hours a week again which would allow me to create more features.

Future Features

Video Game Playlists (around 8 hours)
This feature would work similar to the playlists in the Video Game Music Room where a user can create a playlist, name it and then add whatever they want to it and then on the main index page, the top rated playlists appear, recently created playlists appear and a drop down showing all created playlists.

Vizzed CMS (8-16 hours to get something basic up and 16-32 more hours to get something more advanced up)
A content management system where users could create their own website on Vizzed hosted by Vizzed. Users would have access to lots of features which would greatly speed up the amount of time it takes to create a website. The Pokemon GO section of Vizzed is an example of a site that could be completely created with the tools that would be available to users.

User Themes (around 16-24 hours)
This would allow users to use or create or sell user themes (like this or this or this) in a market that could be applied to any page of the site that you own or co-own (such as rented forums, profiles, playlists, a site that you own with the Vizzed CMS, etc). Users would also be able to use the theme on themselves which means that most pages of the site would appear to have the selected theme for themself.

Character Maker (around 40 hours to get functionality up with a few options to choose from; another 20-60 hours for a good selection of choices)
Users would be able to create their own avatar character on Vizzed which would represent them using many available facial features, clothing, etc. This would basically be required for the Battle Arena.

Award System (around 16-24 hours)
An achievement like system where you'd earn "points" and awards for doing various things such as visiting the site for 365 consecutive days, referring 10+ users to the site, making 1000+ posts, etc.

Video Game Completion Badge (around 8 hours for functionality; maybe 15 minutes per a game that gets added to the list of supported games)
A badge that gets added to a user's profile when they beat a game in the Retro Game Room. The game would have to be played in the timetrial mode which would prevent them from cheating and they'd have to take a screenshot of the ending screen as proof. The badges would most likely be based on the main character's sprite in a game (and for games where you don't see the main character, then a sprite of something iconic from the game).

Battle Arena (around 160-320 hours for basic functionality)
User would be able to battle each other turn based using stats and Vizzed items. It'd be pretty similar to Final Fantasy Tactics.

Vizzed Board Game (around 40-80 hours)
This would take the concepts of the Battle Arena and turn it into a board game where users work together to take on CPU and see how far they can get in a board game like environment.

New PM System (around 40-60 hours)
Basically Private Messages would be more like threads and posts and would also allow more than 2 users to communicate back and forth.

Rent-A-Forum For All (around 8-16 hours)
This would allow anyone to startup their own rented forum but at a high Viz price. The process would be automated

Table Lists (around 16 hours)
This would allow users to create tables/lists which then could be embedded into posts or walkthroughs. Users would be able to give other users permissions to edit the table. The table list feature is already partially finished but doesn't really have a user interface yet. Click Here to see an example of a table list in action.

New Photo Album + File Uploader (around 40 hours)
This would allow users to upload images and files to Vizzed for a small Viz price. Users would then be able to organize their uploaded files, let others view them and also organize their uploaded images in a similar way to the current Photo Album.

DOS Games Added to the Retro Game Room (around 40 hours)
They'd be both playable by the RGR Plugin and using a Java emulator. We'd also make sure to get as many games added as possible which would be 1000s.

'Name that Game' Video Game Trivia (around 24 hours)
A video game trivia feature which would be based on screenshots submitted to the Retro Game Room and Video Game Room. So the script would randomly pick a screenshot from the RGR or VGR and then ask you what game it's from.

Video Game Music Trivia (around 24 hours)
Very similar to the above idea except using video game music. The script would randomly select a song based on selected system, settings and difficulty and you'd listen to it for a short time in order to figure out which game it's from.

This Day in Vizzed History (around 4-8 hours)
A simple but fun page which would highlight the top discussions from the current day in the history of Vizzed 1 year ago, 3 years ago, 5 years ago and 10 years ago. It'd be fun to see who was posting at that time, what topics were being discussed and what was popular on the internet.

Full Site Search (around 16-32 hours)
You can currently do a local search in almost any section of the site but you currently can't do a full search on the entire site.

More Music Search Customization (around 4-8 hours)
Users would be able to search for music based on bits (8, 16, 32, 64, etc), genre (RPG, Platform, Racing, etc), franchise (Mario, Pokemon, Sonic, etc), release date, hack or homebrew, media type (CD or cartridge), developer, publisher and more.

Co-Op High Score and Speed Runs (around 8-16 hours)
Would you like the option to compete cooperatively?

User Groups (around 16 hours)
A user group would basically be a group of users who share something in common or like to organize certain events. It could be a bunch of friends, it could be a bunch of users who are part of a tournament, or it could be a bunch of users who like a certain game/franchise.

Update and Upgrade Video Game Collector's Guide (around 20-40 hours)
It hasn't been working properly for a while.

Vizzed Card Game (around 40-60 hours with around 10 minutes per a card (but I'd allow others to help make the cards))
You'd be able to collect cards based on video game characters, locations and items. All of the artwork would be taken directly from the games that they're based on. Users would be able to battle each other with the cards that they've obtained.

Tour de Vizzed Team Competition (around 16-24 hours)
This would be an automated system where users could create or join teams of 4 where the points of each team member adds to the team's overall points. The team with the most points overall wears a special new banner.

More Flash, Java and Silverlight Emulators (around 16-32 hours)
More browser based emulators would be added to the Retro Game Room.

More RGR Plugin Systems (around 16-40 hours per a system)
More systems would be added to the Retro Game Room using the RGR Plugin but it'd be all systems prior to 1999 and most of them obscure.

Post Background (around 2-4 hours)
A background image that not only appears behind a user's post but also behind the sides of their post.

Thread Title Display (around 2-4 hours)
The ability to change and alter how your thread appears on a forum's page. It would cost Viz to have your thread stick out but ways include a background image, different colored link, thumbnail image, etc.

Online Users Page (around 16 hours)
A page similar to the old online users page which would show all of the users online and which page they're on. It'd also show which pages the guests are on.

Site Map (around 16 hours)
This page would show all of the sections of the site in a nested format.

SuperGustafson9 : I probably wouldn't even end up using your collection because I'd probably need DOS games that have been specifically configured for the RGR Plugin or Java emulator.

This all sounds really cool, the most particular ones I find really interesting is of course DOS, as well as the obscure one's pre 1999 systems I am trying to think what other systems there could be. I know there is no playdia emulator out there, but one day I hope that will come to light. Also the Viz games like the card battle at battle arena and the board game sounds fun as well.

I added the number of hours I think each feature would take me. This will help Patrons decide on which features they'd like me to work on. Some of the times are longer than what it'd actually take but I wanted to give myself a little room just in case a feature takes longer than expected.

I have a concern about the new PM system... What effect would the transition from one to the other have on PMs already in our inbox or sorted into other folders? I sometimes PM myself text as a sort of cloud storage backup because every device I come in contact with has hardware failure shortly after and was wonder if I and everyone else that does the same should back up anything they want to keep on their computers before the change, whenever that happens.

m0ssb3rg935 : We wouldn't lose any of the current Private Messages. I'm not sure if I'd migrate the current PM tables to the new system or just turn the current PM tables into archive tables. If I took the archive route, it'd mean that everyone would have a primary inbox and an archive inbox with the archive inbox containing all of the old PMs.

I'm not sure if that answers your question or not.
