I've finally gotten my laptop, and with this, I have obviously started playing some of my favorite PC games, one of which is, obviously, Minecraft. But this time, when I booted up the game, I decided to start messing with settings and see how good I could get at just designing, without being able to fly around and see what I was building, so I disabled cheats, and locked the game mode on regular. This has sparked a different kind of interest in the game, as I now have found a game that started me in an amazing area.  
  
This now gets me to the point of the thread I am making right now, Why do you play on the game mode you guys play? I don't care what one, or if you think other game modes are lame, I want to know why you play the way you do? Do you like challenge? Is it just something to be creative on?  
  
I personally like playing on Creative most often, as I get to just make things, plus I can make and destroy things faster, but this round/ world has made me enjoy the original mode. I now have shifted to playing it the way it was designed at first, and this has opened up a whole "new" dimension to the game. But enough of me, What about you guys?

I play Survival because it's part of the game and I play Creative because it's part of the game

If it's part of the game generally I want to play it, which is why I chose all 3 routes in Undertale despite everyone telling me that genocide wasn't worth it

I've never tried the other -- Hardcore I think it was, but I'll try it out sometime
