Eirinn : Well, I haven't actually beaten the game yet, I've been focusing on other games that won't cause as much frustration for a little while.

Eirinn :   Just last night I had a very frustrating moment.  I was SOOOO excited to find Valkyrie Profile on here for the PlayStation, so I immediately started playing about a month or so ago.  I had previously beaten it on easy mode many years ago, but the asking price for it these days is ridiculous at best for the actual game.  Any way, I have had to restart it a few times here on Vizzed, losing an hour or two here and there before realizing I can save multiple states for the game.  I finally made it to the last few bosses (almost) and a little over 60 hours into it, and it freezes on part of ending A (the best ending you can get) cut scene before you fight the final bosses.  I swore, and my wife walks in asking if everything was ok.  I looked at my screen with sadness in my eyes, as I have been playing this incredible game for so long, only to have it taken away from me again.  I have a save state at around twenty seven hours in, but I really don't want to go through all that over again just to have it happen another time...frustrated...I haven't had much luck with the PlayStation games on here so far.  Dragon View was another game for the PlayStation that crashed on me after thirty to forty hours in and nothing I could do about it

The last frustrating moment in gaming I experienced was playing the English Translation of The Adventures of Hourai High here on Vizzed.

It's a goofy turn-based JRPG that I had actually intended on playing a good deal in to while recording the game play for the site's YouTube channel. Little did I realize that after the first area of random encounters, once you reach the world map, the enemies are about 10 times stronger, and I had assumed I could at least survive ONE fight and heal if need be ( so I hadn't worried about saving in a while ). Sadly this was not the case, and I lost about 45 - 60 or so minutes worth of progress. If the game didn't have an insane number of random encounters, I wouldn't have minded so much, but fighting another 25 or so battles, and skipping through tons of useless dialogue just to get back to where I was just ticked me off.

And that's my rant for the day

I tried to start playing a game. That was literally a frustrating moment for me. And let me explain what I mean by that..

Have you ever felt like you had not much time to do things that you enjoy doing, but couldn't figure out what to do and couldn't force yourself to do anything? I spent more time thinking about playing a game more than I did actually playing a game. Maybe it's just because I started a bunch of games all at once and stuff, I don't know. I guess I should just learn to go with one game at a time

I just bought The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword; I've only played 3 hours into it, but the motion controls are a big rage-inducer for me. Half of the time the motion isn't detected, particularly when you're flying around Skyloft.

The Star Fox Competition ROM is incredibly frustrating because it has a time limit. I had to get a high score for the Vizzed Survivor challenge, but I had never played star fox so it was difficult. I've never seen any levels past level 3 because of the timer and it really doesn't encourage me to try again..

The last frustrating moment I had in a game was when I was playing Rocket League, and this happens every time I play. No matter how good bots are, they will always do the dumbest things and do whatever they can to get in your way, even if they are on your team, and after playing for a few minutes, I always get sick of it.

The last rage moment I had was in DCUO (DC Universe Online). I kept getting stuck in random lame groups that could not defeat a seasonal boss.

Hmm.... let's see. Last game i actually played was InFAMOUS 2. Much as i'm loving the game so far, i kind of suck at both it and the first one. Thus, i keep falling off of platforms, being shot at, and dying. One time, i threw a grenade, and blew myself. THAT was pretty frustrating.

Last frustrating gaming moment I had was about a minute ago when I started a game of Tomb Raider on my PS Vita. I'd spent hours downloading it because my connection gets me roughly fifty MB an hour, and when I started it I found out that Tomb Raider only allowed for saves in one slot on PSX and since my nephew played first, I can't play the game...after buying it and waiting so long, because if I do it'll overwrite his save. -__-

I don't tend to have any controller-throwing or rage quitting types of frustrating gaming moments, so I guess I'll just briefly recount a moment that just almost became a terrible tragedy for me. lol For those of you that play Terraria, you might know that some locations are only accessible after certain bosses have been defeated, or there will be consequences... Well, just out of curiosity, I walked into the Dungeon of our Vizzed Terraria server without having defeated one of the bosses
Spoiler:
called Skeletron
first. I thought I'd just go into the Dungeon to poke around a bit and see if I could collect some potions and books without being detected by the Dungeon Guardians, but as I wandered deeper into the Dungeon, I moved past a certain depth and out popped a Dungeon Guardian that instantly smashed me to bits. XD While that's normally pretty funny to me, I'd forgotten that I had quite a bit of Gold in my inventory... all of which dropped onto the ground below that depth where the Dungeon Guardians were sure to appear. x_X

If I had been playing on my own server, I would have just gone on to defeat the boss and then tried to retrieve that Gold, but since I didn't happen to be playing on my own server…

I spent the next 20 minutes or so trying all sorts of methods to retrieve that Gold to no avail.

The Dungeon Guardians came after me so many times until 3 of them started appearing all at once. DX I placed torches on my way down to that depth to light up my way and tried to increase my speed/rate of descent so that I would be able to pick up the Gold and then try to Mirror out of there before the Dungeon Guardians appeared, but the Dungeon Guardians always got me before my Mirror could take effect. By the 20th or so death, I'd mastered the art of falling to that location without hitting anything at all on the way down, but the 2 seconds that it took to pick up the Gold and then escape via the Mirror slowed me down so much that it truly made escaping from the Dungeon Guardians a near-impossible task.

I don't remember how many more times I tried, but the main reason I consider this story a "frustrating moment" as opposed to a "tragic moment" is because I did eventually manage to retrieve my Gold, albeit I had to use a very creative solution to do so (and no, I did not have to increase my HP or Mana or dig my way anywhere or hack and I had no Admin powers on that server). In short, if I can help it, I'm going to make sure to never make a spectacle of myself like that again. ^^0 (I just jinxed myself yet again didn't I? T_T ) I guess I shouldn't mention how, after I finally retrieved my Gold from the Dungeon, I somehow still ended up splattered all over Sword legion's house and this time he got to laugh when he saw me drop my Gold yet again. ^^0;;

Anyways, the moral of this story is very simple: do not carry Gold when you're just out exploring and do not die in an inconvenient location. x_X

I was doing the scenario modes for Civ 5 for a couple hours yesterday. Nothing's cooler in a strategy game when the computer is cheating 100% of the time. Especially when you're already fighting a 6 front war.

I finally gave I am Bread a chance. Do I really need to say anymore? Lol. Well, it isn't hard, very hard, but not as rage inducing as I have seen in videos, but I did lightly flip out once or twice.

Me and a friend play retro games together regularly, and right now we're busy beating Super Mario Bros. on Super Mario All-Stars. Man, did that game age badly... It's soooooo clunky, haha. We're pretty far in, both at world 6, but we hadn't played it for two weeks, so yesterday we were pretty rusty again. Needless to say, many deaths and continues occured and several bad words were thrown across the room, lol

I came across another one in Dragon Quest 8 it would be farming for a certain item that you need. You beat and kill monsters who drop it and they won't which really does frustrate me a lot.

I just marathoned the second half of The Bureau:XCOM Declassified, and there were a few rage-inducing moments. Out of all of them, however, one induced far more rage than any other - and it was entirely because of poor AI. It's a third-person shooter with tactical elements, so you're mostly just shooting and sometimes giving orders to your squadmates. At one point, I was taken down and bleeding out, so I ordered a nearby squadmate to revive me...and watched as he stood there, only a few feet away from me, taking potshots at the enemies a long distance away while completely ignoring his dying teammate. It's aggravating to lose sometimes, but it's even more aggravating when it happens due to things that you can't control.
