Old habits? Well assuming they don't have to be bad habits, then I could list a few.
I used to bounce my right leg constantly, and I still do, just not like I used to. Another interesting thing (like with the clock thing mentioned above) is that I eventually became a drummer which caused me to use that same motion but productively. Maybe my habits were just my body getting ready for what I was destined to do! lol jk I don't believe in destiny.


Popping my knuckles and various other joints. I still do this so it may not count, but it's an annoying and embarrassing habit that drives me crazy. I try to stop, but I do it without realizing it. This includes popping my back, toes, fingers, ankles, and even chest - don't ask.


Finally I used to breathe almost rhythmically. Like when I would take a breath it would seem like I didn't do it right (lol breathe wrong? How?) so I would exhale and inhale "right" the next time. There was almost a rhythm to it or something Idk. Same with exhaling, but only through my nose.

I find some there really weird. But, people are different with how they do many things it life when it comes to doing a lot of habits, and how they do them. So seeing your reply didn't only make me to laugh, but left me in surprise. XD

Well I used to have this old habit of biting my nails, I didn't use to bite them for stress or  when I got nervous or anything like that I just used to bite them to keep them cut but I got a nail clipper so I don't do it anymore. I guess another old habit I used to do would be sleeping with a night light  on but I grew out of that at like 7 years old.

Divine Aurora : Some people may have that habit and in time grow out from them mostly, because they couldn't find the nail clipper. And another thing about sleeping with the night light kids are afraid of the dark. So as you grow older you will be able to handle it more, and grow out from that as well.

I used to be a huge nail biter when I was like 8 or 9 years old. It was just so appealing to me for some reason, and I was addicted to it. Only when I bit skin instead of my nail and I started bleeding, was when I finally decided that it might not be good for me. It took me a while, but I finally got over that, and I haven't done it ever since.

A few things probably, like a lot of people I used to bite my nails often and then one of my friends told me I could get worms from doing that It just made me stop immediately, no problem. Sad news is in the past year or two I've started back up a little bit, it makes my nails look very not cute though so I try to stop myself, the urge is so strong sometimes though!
I used to chew on the collar of my shirt, all my shirts! I think it was just an anxiety thing because it made me feel like i had a barrier or some Freudian junk, stopped doing that as I got later in to high school. I knew I looked odd doing it and it's not really something you see people do often or maybe even at all. My collars were always loose by the end of the day too and that didn't look that great either. Still don't really do that but every so often I'll do it still, just won't chew on it, I just hold it up to my mouth.
I still have habits that I do now that I haven't gotten past yet and probably plenty of habits I have dropped but forgotten about.

I used to grind my teeth for one like a lot of people even while awake sometimes when I was younger. I guess I didn't do it to the point where it had too severe consequences though. Eventually I just kind of stopped doing it on my own.

I also used to chew on the collar of my shirt like Cap'n though under different circumstances. Often times I would do it while focused on something else like when playing a video game without even realizing. I made an effort to stop doing it a few years ago and eventually stopped entirely.

I also had some weird almost OCD like habits when I was younger. Basically every time I was in the kitchen and opening the refrigerator or freezer I'd have to push them all to make sure they were closed after already closing them. The weird part was that I always had to check both despite only opening one most of the time. If I didn't I'd get the thought in my head that I'd left it open despite knowing I always made sure it was closed. The same thing sort of applied to the front door where I'd constantly check that it was locked even though I kind of knew it was. In both cases I often ended up doing this multiple times after already checking. I got rid of them eventually by deciding to actively force myself not to check even if it was the case.

There's likely a ton of other habits I had that I quit doing naturally and forgot about after that.
