Luigi442wii : Ah yes that's usually another thing that is helpful. I forgot about that, thank you for reminding me its another thing I actually used to do in the past when asleep I would repeat the same music or track which helped me to sleep. I'm not surprised you said cammy since you are a big fan of hers. ^-^

Ghostbear1111 : I think most people would do that as well. What kind of training like going to the gym or going out for a run? Oh you mentioned the gym part. Sports talk huh? That's pretty good for something that, works for you in a way. I don't think I did something like that before.

Eniitan : Training depends on what day. For example, I'll do a long run day where I go out for 7-12 miles and go run them at a nice steady pace, usually sub 9:00 minute miles.

Other days I kick things up and run what's called fartlek (Swedish for "speed play") or interval training, where I run certain distances faster or slower depending on the songs played. These distances are usually between 4-6 miles because they take more out of you.

Then some days I'll cross train, where I do a high volume of push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups and core work, yoga and pilates mixed in, and a lot of planks of various styles to work sides, back, and my trunk.

Other days I throw a lot of weight around, how you imagine a gym full of strong people looks.

Other days I play pickleball to work on my endurance with change of speed and change of direction and I play against other people so there's some competitive elements to it.

And I enjoy sports talk radio because they're talking about current events and the business of sports besides just scores and results. It is a better conversation than comparing which team is better than which other team. It's compelling stuff with the right personalities and it beats hearing the same six songs over and over.

Ghostbear1111 : Oh wow....thank you so much for taking the time to explain this. I understand now with the different types of training's that you do, and the type of music you would use for each training that would like work to your benefit, and to help you keep on going with your training for the day until you are happy with how many you have done. Oh I see I would like that too then, and maybe give that a try and see if I can listen to sports talk because it would help you keep you updated with what you want and need to hear.

Luigi442wii : I see so it helps a lot throughout the years as I can see....its ok I mean I am sure you didn't mean to hit it some people can accidentally do, that and if they are sorry about it they would let the person know. So thank you for being kind enough for saying it. Its no biggie I don't think I noticed it at first anyways so its cool.  

Eniitan : Sure do! I have several songs that I have just been stuck on forever, and has been almost the only thing I'll listen to for a while. I also have been known to do the same thing with video games. Back when I played Pac Man World a lot, even after finishing the game. I continued to play it to perfection. Even after that I still continued to play it over and over. I got so good at it, I could play through the game every level once and end the game with over 400 lives. I also at one point perfected Super Mario Sunshine 3 times over on the three save files in the hopes that I would eventually get to play as Luigi, having already perfected Super Mario Galaxy. So yeah, totally a repeater!

FaithFighter : Oh wow so you never got bored of them? Like certain types of songs that you listen too can not grab your attention as well as the other ones. Songs grab people but different kinds of ones that people would listen too. We all have our own of what we like to listen too. So when I read your post I couldn't help, but to laugh about how you describe Pac Man world and Super Mario Galaxy. Not in a bad way it was just how you put it in a comedy way. XD

The songs in my phone are not usually in shuffle mode. I like them in order so I can pick what I want.

Oldschool777 : I see some people may do that for their music. So that it plays the order that they like instead of not playing in the order, that you don't want. I used to do that before but I kinda thought it took time getting it to how I wanted it. So then I just stopped doing that and go with what I normally do.

Yep, yep. I sure do, l'll just sit for like a few minutes just browsing the web and repeating the music over and over again. I also go through phases where I become addicted to 1 specific song and i'll just repeat that 1 song over and over repeatedly. It has occasionally bugged my mama, but, meh. After that, i just move on to another song.

Usually when I discover a song for the first time I end up listening to it over and over again for at least a day or so.  After that, I listen to some other songs to mix it up but I might still listen to that same song again as well.

D1998 : Cool nice to hear sometimes I do that while reading or doing something else. Yeah I have that as well I tend to repeat 1 song repeatedly. lol for my family they know I repeat a lot of things if its music or movies. I always get but, eni....didn't you watch this before? Or haven't you listen to this song way too many times? And I am like I don't care I am enjoying watching it again! They end up laughing and say ok. XD

Yes! I always replay my music over and over. XD I never get tired of doing so, and it drives the people around me crazy. =P

Yuna1000 : Lol just like me. My family says just that! It drives them crazy, but I don't care as long as I am enjoying myself with it that's all that matters more. XD

And for better or worse, I only keep adding more music to the same list of songs, so even if it seems like I'm on a new list, it's usually actually just a different segment of the same list. XD I don't know if anyone else has actually figured that out yet though. rofl

Anyways, in recent years, I've started wearing headphones around other people because I started listening to more J-rock than J-pop or pop songs and rock tends to grate on their nerves more, especially when I loop one song over and over. I still loop it wherever I go though, so whoever becomes my captive audience (literally a captive =P ) in my car gets to have the options of passing out, listening to my songs, or singing along with me until they can escape. "It's really not as bad as it sounds (pun intended)." -Me. My passengers may beg to differ though. =P All jokes aside, I have made a habit of trying to add songs that other people also enjoy (areas where our tastes in music do somehow by some miracle overlap) into my list, so if they absolutely dislike what they recognize to be my songs, then they can still try to listen to another one that both of us enjoy. It's sort of a compromise, I guess? lol

Yuna1000 : I see... I didn't figure that one out. I usually do wear headphones to listen to my music when going out. I don't blast up my volume too high but on a good scale of how loud I want it. Since I don't want someone tapping on my shoulder saying my music volume is too loud. I haven't been listening to J-pop for a while now I used to listen to a lot of, that in the past same goes for j-rock as well. Thanks for reminding me of what I need to go back on by listening to them again, and yes its  a compromise. XD

Absolutly. Normally I get stuck on a playlist of about 5 or 10 songs at most and keep playing it until I find another playlist. Most of the time it is 1 genre or sometimes even only 1 artist. A few months ago I would play Eminem a lot, and now I have been playing Michael Buble a lot, and I just won't stop until I find another playlist lol.

Barathemos : That's really cool. Since I know I don't always listen to the type of playlist that I make, but I do try and listen to them when I can. I haven't listened to Eminem and Michael Buble like in forever. So I may just go back and listen to them for old time sake. Its always nice to do it once in a while and when you can since I am sure I forget to listen to them.

Yes, sometimes there is this one or two songs that I just keep on repeating, but normally for only 5 minutes then I pretty much move on to something else.

The thing is though, it's me listening to my favorite video game background music.

Mohammedroxx3 : I see that's a good way to do it. Ah video game background music is a great one to listen too! It depends if or when we get bored from it. I at times do listen to them when I can.
