Burnout 3 Takedown Review
Here is another racing game I just adore. I hope I am not the only one who likes this game as well?

Story 7 out of 10: I wouldn't say this game has much of a story but there are some. And one of it would be of the world tour. That’s the main story mode. You will be taken to various of areas around the world to meet your competitors to and race to beat them as well in various challenges as well. There is also another one called single event and multiplayer. But the big one is the world tour and is the most base for the story plot for the game.

Graphics 8 out of 10: As expected from a racing game the graphics do look life like in a way. The graphics resemble of when playing need for speed games or certain rally games on the ps2 as well. I like the fact when you are racing your speed is so much your flying but then you see local cars in the distances you will have to avoid.

Sound 7 out of 10: Yeah I say the music here is good. There will only be some music played when choosing what you next want to do like menu parts. For any option you pick to select the next a race or a face off event. Mostly on the track for when you are racing you would well hear driving sounds no music for when you are driving sadly. But it good it helps your concentration for when you need to beat your opponents.

Addictiveness 8 out of 10: Oh yeah its very addictive because of one thing you get to crash other cars. That’s the most addictive part about the game. Also it helps with stress relief as well. I know it has helped mine.

Depth 9 out of 10: Oh where to start with this one. You get to play various of modes. Like road rage you get to see how many takedowns you get to do. Crash junctions which is seeing how many local cars that you can destroy. The face off is when you face off one opponent to get a reward for. Then there is the normal 6 car race. When you take down cars in your races you can obtain something called the boost with that you press a button and this boost will make you go even faster in speed. This can be an advantage t you for you to win. Also another rote when you crash you will lose the boost that you had. So to gain more you have to crash other cars. I'm sure you can unlock more things as you play. Back in the days of when it was on the ps2 they had online plays as well. I am guessing that like people worldwide got to play each other using that feature. When you play world tour and select the destination you wish to race on. Lets say usa for an example. It will show a map and a sign of one race available to you. So the more you race the more you unlock the events the more bigger things you can do within the game. It may be a little confusing at first option wise. When you play the game more you'll come to understand what category is what in those options.

Difficulty 9 out of 10: Yeah it can get pretty hard. In a way of well in the beginning the game wouldn't start off so easy. And the more take downs you do the more angrier your rival gets. It shows above their name and place they are. Which have certain colours and when you hit that opponent for amount of good times their rank name will turn red, and that will be when they go all out and cruel towards you so watch out. When that happens. It will get to you so you will need to have a time out before carrying on with the game. I do this It helps. Then go back to the game when ready.

Overall 9 out of 10: This is a game worth getting and to play. Who wouldn't want a game that you get to do takedowns on opponent cars by making them crash by you bashing them? This game is a great stress relief for when you are really upset about something. So instead you can take your anger out on the drivers and then feel good and happy afterwards.

In my opinion, one of the absolute greatest racing games ever made, EVER.  It's a shame that my copy no longer correctly functions.... Burnout Revenge stacks up pretty well with it, with this being slightly better, but Burnout Dominator doesn't even come close.
