I'm chasing the medical sciences right now, with my primary goal being to become a physical therapist, although if I get motivated, maybe I'll go the full mile.

I'm thinking I'm likely to major in something like Biology or the like as an undergrad student, with a longer term goal of chasing a Master's (so I can practice) and eventually a Doctorate, which includes residency.

I plan to go into the computer science/engineering field later in the future. I have experience with C++ and Java, but I'm hoping to further sharpen and develop those skills in college by selecting courses that are essential to my are of study. I also plan on partaking in a computer camp activity later on in the year. Nonetheless, I want to keep my options open, if computer science doesn't work out, I would be satisfied with anything ranging from networking to cyber-security as well.

I have a degree already from one Eastern Michigan University. I majored in Econ and minored in Geography with a focus on political geography. They were fun classes and I enjoyed the process even if it took me a while to get everything done (Go to class, kids).

Of course, I took Econ and Geography and got myself a job in sales at a YMCA and now I run building operations and I'm overall the most in-charge person at my branch outside of Detroit. Of course, the classes I took prepared me for all the things I was going to do and being able to derive a supply curve lets me figure out how I'm going to pay for new Rooftop Units when the compressors in the air conditioning go out.

The paths we take, huh?

I'm a junior in high school, but I have everything planned out:

After my advanced diploma from high school, I'm going to Virginia Tech to major in computer science; I've always loved working with computers, and I know I'll have job security in that field due to the constant demand and the wide range of jobs a CS major covers.
I hope to get a well-paying job as a network manager when I get out of school.

For my minor, I want to study performing arts. I have been, am, and always will be a thespian, and, with the support of my networking career, hope to perform at Barter Theatre, Disney, and maybe even Broadway...

I know computer science is gonna involve a lot of math and programming (I suck at both), but I'll power through and kick butt in college until I achieve my goals!

I'm going to school right now to get my degree in Computer Science. It's not going to be easy, but I'm up for the challenge.

I'm just a Sophomore, so I do have time to change my mind if I wanted to. I don't think I'm going to change my mind, though. I want to major in criminal justice, specifically the lawyer part. Hopefully everything turns out alright in the end, and right now it's going great.

I'm a junior in high school so I'm happy to have an idea for a major by now even though I shouldn't be extremely concerned with it yet. I'm hoping to major in Psychology. I took a Psych class this year and I really liked it. It was also easy for me and I still remember many things I learned in that class.

I'm currently deciding on whether or not I want to take AP Psych. Generally I struggle to do a lot of homework in one day so that's my biggest concern. Also, it'll be my senior year so I'll likely feel desperate for more free time with friends before I graduate and never see quite a few of them again. However, lots of preparation for college is important to me.

I majored in history with the intent to break into the school system and be a teacher from 8-12. Of course, with my history degree in hand, I pursued fitness and wellness and now I am a Director of Operations for a YMCA in Dearborn, Michigan, and I run the gym and oversee physical plant operations as well as staffing, payroll, programming, and strategic planning.

Degrees are just proof a person can stick with a program for four years and continue on in life. I literally am doing nothing in my field and the only thing related to history is looking at what we did in the past and how that impacts what we're doing now. That is it. My thesis on indirect combat during the Spanish invasion of the Incan culture has nothing to do with what I'm working on as we speak.

I am currently studying Medical Billing and Coding. These are the codes that tell the insurance companies what was done and to what area and that is needed to have the insurance company cover the cost. I have heard it is a tough class, but that is okay.
