This my friends. Is the most difficult NES Game I've played. Maybe even harder than Ghost N' Goblins Ninja Gaiden and Castlevaina. So let's talk about it. I saw AVGN's Review on it. And I actually agree with him. It is kind of a bad game. The Graphics don't look too good on paperboy. And besides their were many ports of the game so except their to be better graphics for the other ports unless there all bad I don't know but back to the review. The sound is Okay. I do like the peaceful music. But then there's all this stuff going on that would not normally happen it really reminds me of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. But the glass window breaking sounds realistic. So that's my opinion on the sound. This game is not really addictive in fact I shut off the game because it was so freaking hard. And it's not the type of game for causal gamers. There is not that much of story but the interesting stuff is that the Boss hires the kid to go from house to house delivering newspaper and throws them like a boss when he does. But in real life the mail or paper is usually delivered by setting on door mat or putting inside the mail box. Anyway the subscribers have their house painted white. With the non-subscribers painted Red. Which makes sense for the game but would be a lot of work in real life. But the best part comes here, to make non-subscribers subscribers, you have to break their windows. Its like the boss is in to money and doesn't care about what the subscribers get. That's all I have to say about the story now for the Depth. It is a short game since it was ported from the arcade. But of course to make it seem hard. They make it nearly impossible. It really baffles me. Not much else to say so last but not least difficulty. It is after all the hardest game on NES if not THE hardest. I could go on for ages on how hard it is till I run out of ideas. But it was definitely the same type of hard as Ghost N' Goblins because both games you can't get hit too many times. So that's my review of Paperboy so bad it's classic. Before I end this I just want to say one more thing about my next game review. I am hoping I make a pattern nowadays. Where I review a bad game in my opinion. And a good game in my opinion. The next review will hopefully be a good game. Then I will review a bad one. See you later!

Bear in mind that I have more experience with Paperboy 2 than the original, but unless something changed between the two, you actually just gain subscribers by delivering to enough people that are already subscribed. So if you miss a subscriber they cancel their subscription but if you have a perfect delivery day you gain more subscribers as a sort of cushion between you and your boss giving you the axe. lol

I actually love the paperboy games, but I do agree that this one was a little on the unnecessarily difficult side. 2 and 64 were much better games (with 64 being the extreme opposite of the first one in terms of difficulty), even though I still like this one alright. Anyway, nice job starting on reviews. Keep on working on them. I would suggest some paragraph spacing next time, but this is a good start as I said.

I simply adore this game used to play it a lot in the past. I have played the first one and the second one. Also I was able to beat them. It wasn't so...easy but I managed to do it because I always tend to remember what came at me. I should go back and play this again for old times.
