asdren : It's fine for you to have an opinion but I don't see why you need to state it in such a way since you weren't adding anything to the discussion, you were only saying that it's wrong. Really a case can be made for allowing it even if you do believe in god. If god was against transsexualism, why does he allow people to be born wanting to change their gender in the first place? Furthermore it's really rude of you to ask "are you normal". You can believe in god, the bible and live your life in accordance to what you think is best based on that. However that doesn't mean other people should be forced to live like that as well if that's not what they believe in. Live and let live.

asdren : I think what Zlinqx said is on point, but I'd like to add a few things. You say you believe in God and Adam and Eve, so I'm gonna assume you're Christian, Jewish, or Muslim. Either way, God may not want people to be transgender, but God FOR SURE does not want people being disrespectful to people of other groups. Even Pope Francis himself said this, "If a person is gay and seeks out the Lord and is willing, who am I to judge that person?" Yes, I know we're dealing with trans and not gay, but it can be applied to this situation. 


And the main reason your response was disliked, like Zlinqx said, is because you made a rude comment without even giving any advice or courtesy to Luigi. I'm not saying it's acceptable to make rude comments, but it would have been slightly better had you given him constructive advice. I honestly don't encourage changing genders, but that doesn't mean you have to disrespect people who do so, or like to do so.

I will however say that I have a few friends currently transitioning at the moment and there is a lot more to it than just a simple operation and some hormones.... I won't get into the more intimate details since it's a family site... but if I was you I'd really look up everything you can about this subject...

I won't go into the social stigma side of it.. Because who knows.. The world might be a better place in a few years.... 

All I will say is that don't rush this decision.... A lot of people fantasise and wonder about how life would be if we was the opposite gender especially around your age...

but regardless have my support..

I'm a bit late to this, and i'm pretty much going to copy what everyone else has been saying.

Don't listen to Asdren, you're not "weird" or anything for this.

In fact, I'd wager this is one of the bravest things that have been done on Vizzed, considering how it apparently has some huge hate on the transgender community (at least, some users).

I don't think you're wrong. It's your body, your decision, and everyone should respect it.

I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say, so I'll just summarize it.

You're really brave, you're normal regardless of what people say, and I think you should hold up on the surgery part, not because I think you'll change your opinion, but because of your age.

Anyways, you have my 100% support, no matter what happens.
