Film is visual art. A touchstone of imagination. A centerpiece of media and a vibrant hobby. It entertains and enlightens us the world over. Throughout Film's long existence, we've seen many directors rise to the plate. This includes Steven Speilberg, James Cameron, and more. The films are just as important as those who extensively create them. Now, I really want to know....

Who is your favorite film director? What's your favorite film from them? Thanks for telling, friends.

Without a doubt, my favorite director, who will probably stay as my favorite for a long time is none other than Guy Ritchie. He doesn't direct often, sometimes once a year or even once every two years, but when he does, the movies just work. They are always incredible to look at, are hilarious, and just fun overall. I love what he has done with both Sherlock Holmes movies as well as The Man from UNCLE.

Mine has to be.... *Hayao Miyazaki* an amazing film director of many anime films. Such has Spirited Away,  Laputa Castle In The Sky, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind or Princess Mononoke. There are more others but I won't list them. I've come to love how he direct this wonderful films. And each of them are unique in there own way. And tells a different story. And of cause a lot of emotions that comes with the film. When I watch it I feel as if I am there. I know it sounds weird but if you come to watch a certain type of film that suits you well. You feel that you are on adventure with these people. That you feel...connected to them in a way. They cry you cry. They smile you smile. They shine with happiness and you also feel the same.

Tim Burton. Since very young, I found his eccentric work of arts to be amazing and to see them become movies with top actors is just great for me. I love his work. His mind is very creative and different. His paintings, drawings take on different dimensions and he carries these to film. I love him as a director and artist. My favorite movie of all time is Beetlejuice. So creative. Should I mention he uses a equally mad set of actors to portray some of his top movies- Johnny Depp and Helena Carter- I think they all make such a great team. Just love how Johnny can transform into all these very different characters Tim creates and how Helena just accentuates with her brilliant acting of equally weird characters.

My favorite director would probably be John Carpenter, and what he did with the Halloween movies, as well as John Carpenter's Vampires, and also The Thing, Escape From New York, Big Trouble In Little China, and other great films.

Another favorite of mine is Tommy Lee Wallace, just for one film alone and that was Halloween III: Season Of The Witch. I think that is one of the best Halloween movies ever, and I love the first 2 a ton, but it was a completely different story, and was well done, even though so many people hate it.
