Finance is a blessing. It helps us accomplish our long term goals and satisfy our own desires. That is, from a commercialism, consumerism viewpoint. To others, it might be quite the liability, as it is never enough at all, and , more of it must be accumulated to complete your numerous tasks.  Thanks to the current economic recession, many are cash-starved and desperate,  not being able to make enough to matter in their daily lives. I myself can relate, seeing as how I have little money to do anything with, and it is almost impossible for me to acquire a job, thanks to the mentality of "If Baby Boomers are far more experienced, why have them replaced? They can keep their old jobs. If I'm so good at my own job, why do I need anyone else?" . I ask this question for those who are inconvenienced due to their monetary gains.

Are you starving financially? Do you have difficulty finding a job? Please flourish. Thanks for the feedback.

I can definitely relate to this post, and I usually don't reply to these kinds of threads very often. This may even be the first time I have done this because I'm not sure what people will think. Anyway, this pretty much describes my life in general for the last 3 years. I haven't been able to find any steady work since then. I have to still live at home, and my dad doesn't want me there. I have been to various places to try to find work, but it is very difficult if not impossible. The job I had before was a terrible place to work, and most days I could hardly get up and go in.

It's really bad when nothing you have is really yours either. Your parents pay for the internet, so you're more less at their mercy. My mom is pretty cool about paying for it because she uses it too, but my dad hates it and would gladly cut it off, and that would keep me from coming to this site to reply to threads like these, play games, etc. My financial situation scares me, and I pray every day that I can get a good stable job, and be out free of all of this. I also wish the same of you and other people that are going through similar experiences.

Ultrajeff :   I work as kind of an independent contractor for firestone automotive.  I work for what they call "flag" hours which means I only get paid for the work I do for them, regardless if I am there from 7-7.  So for instance, Sunday I worked 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.  I worked 10 hours for them, but I only got paid 4.7 hours for that day because I only did so much work because it was slow.  I know how it is to have a good job, but not get paid for it.  I have a family of 5 (+2 cats ) and work full time, and still have to rely on government assistance every month.  It is debilitating emotionally and physically
