My favorite hedgehog is silver because his back story reminds me a lot of trunks'. Both came back in time to change their destroyed futures and attacked the main characters. Though trunks was only testing goku. Siver, on the other hand, was just trying to kill sonic.

Shadow. I love everything about Shadow from his personality to the way he looks. And the way his boots hover is just so darn cool I'd say more, but I've already professed my love for him in another post somewhere lol.

Mynamescox44 : I liked His solemn personality and ability to manipulate time. About the hover shoes, I briefly only saw shadow use them in a cut screen during sonic adventure battle and have not seen him do this since then.

Final Weapon : I know in at least a few of the more modern games, whenever he gets up to a certain speed, he would more so "skate" over the ground instead of actually running. I would assume his boots were hovering if he could move that way. Generally there's an animation showing air flowing from under his feet, but looks different than simply pushing off the ground. Shadow the Hedgehog (the game) is another example besides the Sonic Adventure Battle series in which he does that while you're playing. I don't know about any of the TV shows for sure, but I've seen him do it a lot.

I guess I would have to pick Silver due to his abilities. I mean I would love to be able to lift objects with my mind and scream "IT'S NO USE!" all the time.........that would be fun.

Definitely Shadow.Though he may have become kind of a cliche more recently, I still like him the best.That, and I can do a pretty good impression of his voice.

Shadow is by far the best one. Sonic is terrible in my opinion, but Shadow is a boss. He's very similar to Gary Oak actually. I love his design as well. I never really formed much of an opinion about Silver, but I guess he's alright, but nowhere near the level of Shadow. 

I would definitely say that Shadow is the best  one of the 3. Silver is absolutely terrible, while Sonic isn't anywhere near as cool as Shadow (even though Sonic's the only reason these other characters exist in the first place).

Hmm this is hard, but I would go with shadow for so many reason as. Sonic is too uh....whats the word? his personality gets out of hand most of the time. Silver comes in second for me but shadow does it justice for me because of how cool headed he is and thinks before he acts and is very smart about how he goes around doing things. Which is why shadow would get more love than sonic or silver. '-'

I'm surprised nobody picked Sonic hah. I pick Shadow, he's my favorite character in the Sonic series. Everything about him makes me like him. He was the best character to play as in Sonic the Hedgehog for the Xbox 360, in my opinion.

I would have picked Shadow so I guess my vote wouldn't have mattered much anyway because the general consensus is he's the best, he just feels so deeply written even though he's probably not.

Also the cool black and red color scheme, and nice voice actor, nice in my opinion anyway.

Who is better between the three Sonic , Shadow or Silver well my vote goes to Shadow for a number of reasons. First reason being I don't like Sonic or his personality and I don't know who Silver is. Second reason being the only sonic game I've ever owned was Sonic battles and I only used Shadow and his powers and moves were the coolest compared to everyone elses and I loved his personality and his color design and when I played as Shadow I'd always win but with sonic his moves were kinda bad and really ineffective with that stupid curling up in a ball move.  

I got to side with shadow just because he looks amazing... I have never watched the cartoons or anything so from a games perspective they all really do the same thing... So therefore I am going to judge them by appeal.

Final Weapon : While I do like Shadow the Hedghog's character and story. If I had to choose between the three, I would choose Sonic the hedgehog. Why? Well, who would you want protecting you? The super cool guy that ultimately doesn't care what happens to you, or the guy that is always trying to help.

I don't know anything about Silver other than what I briefly read, but I wouldn't want some weirdo popping out of the future trying to kill me because apparently I accidentally screwed up his timeline...Yeah, he does not seem like the kind of person I would like to be around.

While each character does what seems right in their own eyes, I choose Sonic the Hedgehog because he is the one that cares the most. In every story, he can be sassy and prideful, but the love and care that he has for his friends and others is what truly guides him on his adventures. Whether it be the little critters trapped inside Dr Eggman's/ Robotnik's bots, the Whisps of Sonic Colors, his friends, or even life in general, Sonic is the one that will fight for them all. Yes, the other characters are cool, and even more powerful; but it is Sonic's compassion that ultimately wins the day, and puts the other two in the anti-hero category.

I like Sonic the best. He isn't an unnecessary edgelord, and he didn't have an AWESOME mechanic and backstory that was...IMMEDIATELY forgotten and trashed by everything except for the comics.

While the comics are by far the best Sonic stuff (save for Sonic's Twitter account) I am judging them by the games themselves. Sonic's minimal character and no development trumps Shadow's learning the same lesson three games in a row, only beginning to move on and almost having something great, then being forgotten. And Silver's being scraped by everything because of no good reason. I actually liked his story, Blaze, and Eggman Nega. I really wished that Sega would have done...SOMETHING more than what we got.

I'd Say Sonic.. Mainly because the other two Shadow and Sliver had messed up backstories.   


Shadow  is all now like I must get this chaos Emerald..   When his original plot was revealed to be about keeping his word true to his girlfriend(That's what I gathered at least from Sonic X)   Shadow the hedgehog the video game also made him keep true to the promise if he kept that, but at the same time.. Why was he Holding a gun when he was supposed to be Sonics Equal?...



Sliver I wanted to like, but he just seemed so out of touch with his I'm a Heroic Time-traveler gimmick.    Not to mention Sega Erased him after sonic 06... which hurts his case even more.
