My worst sickness was when I was about 14. I had caught a kind of sinusitis so bad I could not move my neck backwards. I remember my father comparing me with the Hunchback of Notre Dame because I acted so miserably (I was, mind you).

Also I once had the terrible idea of biking while air quality was at unhealthy levels. I do not think I ever sneezed so much in my entire life; I must have gone through have a box of tissue because my body was trying to get rid of that junk I inhaled.

When I was in sometime during elementary school, I had to buy this certain lab kit for a science fair project. (It had a few chemicals for a reaction)

Suddenly the next day I became VERY sick. Like I was shivering, my skin was tomato red, I kept sneezing and coughing, and I always had to use the bathroom.

I don't even know what this was but I had a temperature. But it slowly went away after a week of pain.

Around Christmas 2011 I woke up with the worst sore throat I could recall. There was a growth in my pharynx that allowed for a tiny sliver of breathing room and not much else. Eating hurt like the fires of Hades, I couldn't drink without almost choking, and even breathing was taxing.

After a few days and several boxes of Cepacol the sickness "migrated" to my nose and I had a nasty cold for two weeks. Then it was over, save for a brief relapse later in the month.

I'm lucky something like that hasn't happened again and I hope it won't happen again.

I think my worst illness is when I had the chicken pox. I think I was home for 10-14 days and I wanted to scratch like crazy.

Does the flu count? Because that's the worst I can think of that I've had.

I don't get sick very often. I have a very strong immune system. I only have gotten the flu once, and that's when I felt the worse as far as I can remember.

During my GCSE years, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. But, get this, there were 4 recorded children in history with the same tumour I had. They all died within 6 months, I am on my 3rd year after finishing treatment.

Anyway, due to this, I had multiple health "defects" and I only have 1 testicle now. So, yeah, my worst sickness is cancer.

Fun fact: I was the only one in my family opposed to me receiving chemotherapy.
Another fun fact: When approached by the make a wish foundation, I turned it down, because another child deserved the gift more than me. I still have not taken the wish and I hope they put the money they would have used on me to better use. I know I  helped make at least 1 child happier before they died, and that gives me enough satisfaction.

I was once get a sickness that get my body so hot, it literally made me paralyzed. Turns out i got the dengue fever. I was treated at the hospital for the whole week, and in the time that I went home, the block where i lived in is literally getting smoked just because the word of me getting the fever spreads so quickly (in here, people used to hire people to smoke their house, which is contained with a mosquito killer thingy if someone near their place is getting the dengue fever. But in my case, ITS THE WHOLE BLOCK THAT GETTING SMOKED) the road that day was literally looking grey lol

The worst sickness I can remember was when I had strep throat 2 years ago. The most common sickness for me is strep throat, and that was the worst by far. I don't get sick much haha.

I don't actually remember being my most sick since it happened when I was a baby. I was born two months too early and was very sick to the point where I was close to dying and doctors told my mom I would have brain damage if I survived (though I ended up not having any as far as I'm aware of). I don't know exactly what it was I suffered by but I think among other things I had rubella which is pretty serious for a young baby especially a prematurely born one like me who was already struggling.

Other than that what has followed is that I get sick a lot since being born prematurely caused me to have a weak immune system. The most serious disease that I can actually remember having would probably be the first time I got strep throat. It was extreme to the point where I could barely swallow anything for a while and on top of that I also had a serious fever. Another time was when I get a really high fever (39.8 degrees celsisus) where it got to the point where we ended up going to the hospital. I was pretty young at time still being in early primary school so naturally it was a horrible experience. Though I've had several fevers that were around 39 degrees.

Nowadays though I don't get sick a lot. It seems since some time after I went through puberty my immune system somehow caught up, at least that's what I think. Regardless of the reason; I'm certainly not complaining.

Other than that I also have mild scoliosis  which is a curvature of the spine (2.4cm). It is supposedly not serious enough to where it should require surgery (4cm and up) but I've suffered from back pain a lot when I was younger when walking long distances and still do though to a lesser extent which I'm guessing is due to that. So if basing on what has overall caused me the most suffering, that would probably be it lol.

I would have said pneumonia, which I picked up a few years ago, but I have a new sickness.

I got hand, foot, and mouth disease from my daughter half a year ago. It was horrendous, the itching and pain in my hands and feet kept me up at night. My skin had loose sores and literally peeled off me in bunches and it was like having a terrible sun burn. It hurt all the time for three days straight. The middle day of it had me at such a bad flu, I was on the floor of the bathroom, hoping to die because I had such a high fever and I was shaking and freezing cold. I puked for a while, didn't eat for two days because my throat was so raw, and I stayed cooped up in the bedroom unless I was on the couch trying to not kill myself at night.

It was bad. It was a terrible experience and I think it's like chicken pox (as was mentioned earlier) where once you get it, you should be good. Both my daughters had it but they didn't have much problem. It's worse as an adult.

I can't say by name what it was because I never go to the doctor and get diagnosed.

That said, the worst sickness I have ever had that I can actually recall was probably when I was fifteen or so. I couldn't get out of bed and I ran a fever so high that I couldn't stay awake and that's something that lasted for a week or more. The one time I did get up, I went to church and somehow managed to survive being up that long. lol

Now before I go on any more, understand that I'm United Pentecostal, alright? xD

I got prayer, then, in praise to God as the one who could heal me, I walked around the building once and tried to leap but couldn't even get my feet off of the ground and my hands had to be held up for me.
Of course this was all voluntary.

That night after service my pastor actually came to our house and told me he was taking me to the hospital (which seemed to completely contradict everything I had done up to this point in so many ways). I managed to mumble out a request that he let me be for at least one more night, and he agreed that they would come back the next day.
That night my fever broke and by morning I was up and about as usual.

Not too long ago I had a sickness that made me feel much worse, but wasn't nearly as serious. I was awake for a lot of that one and vomiting most of the time I was awake. That was awful too. Even worse than when I had food poisoning and tried to preach while I had it. xD

But the most dangerous sickness I had was when I was a newborn. I can't remember what it was, but I hear tell I nearly died a few times from it. I was sick most of my infant life, but thankfully I don't remember it (of course).

the worst sickness I ever had was about 16 years ago when I had cellulitis it was so painful that it would hurt anytime I was sitting down or lying on my back as a result I had to spend 10 days in the hospital on antibiotics until I finally had to have surgery on my buttocks then when I was discharged and allowed to return home they had home care come down to my house twice a day to change the bandages then as it started to heal it was cut down to once a day it took about 15 days after I returned home for the cellulitis to completely heal but luckily I haven,t had it since and to this day I still don,t know how it ever happened but I guess I can say that I,m lucky so far that I don,t get sick very often XD

I'm very blessed to have had the flu as my worst sickness. I think I just happen to keep being in the right places at the right time XD

The most recent flu I had was Memorial Day weekend last year when I was on a trip with my family. I woke up early in the morning after staying up late at night. I had no idea why I felt so anxious and nauseous until I threw up. My parents were very upset that I managed to get sick for our trip with 2 days left in our trip.

However, the worst effects of it only lasted a day; I was able to eat normal food the next day. But I had the high body temperature part of it for a week. I thought I was going to have to get more help than just medicine for it. After returning from that vacation, I had exams. Right next to me for my 1st period exam was one of my friends. She also had a fever so I was thankful I didn't have to worry about spreading it to her.

Typing this post has made me so thankful for how healthy I usually am

Starting out my summer job I think I had the worst flu in my life. I was knocked unconscious at random points, I was almost unable to move without deep thought about it. The fatigue killed me but the congestion did me in.

Worst time of my life and I got a written warning for sleeping on the job. I didn't even intend on it, I was just really sick.

Honestly speaking I'm not sure what sickness I've had is worse... I mean ignoring all the medical issues I have that are permanent because epilepsy isn't really a sickness I guess...

Anyways I've had  the flu and salmonella and a few other stomach bugs/ viruses.. But I'm the type of idiot that just sits in my room gaming anyways... The latest one was the flu that was going around at the time and I was literally just playing games and going around as normal... luckily after the 4th day I became self aware of how sick I was thanks to my friends online.. When I was basically talking gibberish and talking about seeing stuff.... basically I'm an idiot when it comes to being sick...

I have been very blessed throughout my life to not be prone to sickness too badly. I do have colds almost 24/7/365, but it rarely gets worse.

When I was younger, I had strep throat a few times, but it never was that bad. Last year I had the flu, and a pretty bad case of it at that. I missed school for a week (but who cares senior year anyway) but it was miserable. I couldn't sleep at all and did nothing but cough all day. No one was home to take care of me do to work and stuff, but I didn't have to go to the hospital or anything, so I'm very glad for that.

Thankfully I don't get sick very often, usually it's no more than 2-3 times a year. The only thing I ever seem to get is strep throat, though I think that's because I'm most likely a carrier for it. I don't show any of the symptoms for it aside from congestion, so that might be why. It's still not fun to have your entire head feel like it's clogged with snot though.

Even in my younger years, I don't recall getting sick too often, nothing more than the occasional cold or fever which are always unpleasant, but never incredibly debilitating.

All things considered, strep is both the worst and most frequent sickness I find myself getting every so often.

In all honesty, I haven't been sick that often in my life. The worst sickness was probably the stomach flu when I was younger, but that was the extent of my life being sick. Never anything serious beyond throwing up.
