This month's High Score competition is for 'Tobidase Daisakusen' for the Famicom Disk System. You can play it here:
https://www.vizzed.com/play/tobidase-daisakusen-fds-famicom-disk-system-36469-game

The point of this competition is to get as high of a score as you can.

VIDEO REQUIRED: You must must use the RGR Plugin's built in video recording to record the gameplay and then upload that video to the Vizzed YouTube account.

RULES: You MUST play the game using the RGR Plugin in 'Timetrial Mode' and take a screenshot of your top score from that by pressing F6. To play in 'Timetrial Mode', scroll down the page where the highscores would appear, you'll see a link that says 'Click Here to Compete for Highscore', click that. Once you've taken your screenshot, click the link near that one that says 'Click Here to Submit your Score' to submit your score.

You cannot unfairly get points or lives or use a glitch of any sort. If you find something that gives out unlimited points or lives, it will not count.

Prizes:
1st = 50,000 Viz
2nd = 25,000 Viz
3rd = 10,000 Viz

TIP:
In order to swap the game disk, press spacebar.

Competition begins now.

I've never played in a real FDS before. This is a great chance for this

Also, I never heard of this game before, but it seems very interesting.
Just lookin at Tobidase Daisakusen game, and Space Harrier environment came to my mind. Never mind it has an USA version called "3-D WorldRunner"

The 3-D Battles of WorldRunner (shortened to 3-D WorldRunner on the North American box art), originally released in Japan as Tobidase Daisakusen(とびだせ大作戦 lit. 'Operation: Jump Out'?), is a 1987 third-person rail shooter platform video game developed and published by Square for the Family Computer Disk System and published by Acclaim for the Nintendo Entertainment System itself.
(source: Wikipedia)

Yes, I'm planning to compete in this game, during the month length. I hope more players do the same, for fun.

I have a question: I heard somewhere that it's allowed to submit only one HighScore (and only one SpeedRun) for each Vizzed game. Is it right?

TRB_MetroidTeam : You can submit as many submissions as you want.

I agree that this looks a ton like Space Harrier, which is a great game.

Yep, Space Harrier is excellent.

I just found where I read about the 1 submission each game. Here are 2 example, one with High Score submission, other with Speedrun submission. Well, maybe I misunderstand something .

https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/scores.php?id=36469

This page lets you submit your score. You can only submit 1 score per a game.
To compete for score, click the 'Compete for Highscore' link on the game page. Take a screenshot of your score and than press F6.
Come to this page to submit that score by filling in the details. You can only compete for Highscore with the RGR Plugin.
When you're playing in 'Score Mode', the ability to load and save your progress is disabled.

https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/speedruns.php?id=36483

This page lets you submit your speed runs. You can only submit 1 speed run per a game.
To compete for a speed run, click the 'Compete for Speed Run' link on the game page.
Take a screenshot of the ending screen and than press F6.
Here's the ending screen:
Come to this page to submit that Speed Run by filling in the details. You can only compete for Speed Runs with the RGR Plugin.
When you're playing in 'TimeTrial' mode, the ability to load and save your progress is disabled.

Hi all!

It's impossible to record videos. It freezes the screen, and record no movements.

I know today is the last day for these FDS competitions (Yume Koujou: Doki Doki Panic and Tobidase Daisakusen), however it's already on time. I started only today to play these games, however I'm with problems too, in both games.

This FDS emulator, Famitwin (for YKDDP speedrun mode or for TD highscore mode). Anyway I'm playing fine in these modes, without recording the video. Considering video recording is required, and external software is allowed, I'm going to play this way, then F6 for screenshot, and recording the video externally. This is the best solution that I found for now.

(Edit)

I just submitted a short performance (3,000) on this game (Tobidase Daisakusen). Screenshot and video included.

PS.: I'm able to finish Yume Koujou: Doki Doki Panic, however I'm unable to externally-record long performances (speedrun).

Best regards!

(Edit2)

I played again and increased my score to 140,600 and then to 244,550 (Stage 3), unable to record the videos, however I played on HighScore mode.

Very nice game! That's all for now. Best regards!
