So today when I was looking on Bengals.com looking to see if there were any new articles, the first thing I saw was that Guns N' Roses is coming to Paul Brown Stadium as part of a huge stadium tour this summer called "Not in This Lifetime". Axel Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan will be performing for the first time in over 20 years. If I was into concerts I would definitely go to the one in Paul Brown Stadium since that's the closest one to me. Anyways, for those of you who are interested, here's a list of dates and locations they'll be performing at.

Jun. 23 - Detroit, MI @ Ford Field
Jun. 26 - Washington, DC @ FEDEXFIELD
Jun. 29 - Kansas City, MO @ Arrowhead Stadium
Jul. 01 - Chicago, IL @ Soldier Field
Jul. 06 - Cincinnati, OH @ Paul Brown Stadium
Jul. 09 - Nashville, TN @ Nissan Stadium
Jul. 12 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Heinz Field
Jul. 14 - Philadelphia, PA @ Lincoln Financial Field
Jul. 16 - Toronto, ON @ Rogers Centre
Jul. 19 - Foxboro, MA @ Gillette Stadium
Jul. 23 - East Rutherford, NJ @ MetLife Stadium
Jul. 27 - Atlanta, GA @ Georgia Dome
Jul. 29 - Orlando, FL @ Orlando Citrus Bowl
Jul. 31 - New Orleans, LA @ Mercedes-Benz Superdome
Aug. 03 - Arlington, TX @ AT&T Stadium
Aug. 05 - Houston, TX @ NRG Stadium
Aug. 09 - San Francisco, CA @ AT&T Park
Aug. 12 - Seattle, WA @ CenturyLink Field
Aug. 15 - Glendale, AZ @ University of Phoenix Stadium
Aug. 22 - San Diego, CA @ Qualcomm Stadium

I found this out about 3 days ago when I was looking at the Kansas City Chiefs homepage (due to one of the concerts being played in Kansas City, MO @ Arrowhead Stadium) and was interested a slim bit.

After seeing that one of the shows is going to take place in Atlanta, on July 27th, at the Georgia Dome (right down town) I suddenly had more interest.

Thing is, I've never been a huge Guns N' Roses fan, never really cared for their music, but an event like this I may just want to go to. I know some of my friends are big Guns N' Roses fans, so I may end up going with them but who knows really.

Sadly GNR is really past their Prime. Especially Axl. He's washed up. They want 70$ BEFORE TAX to see them in the Upper Deck at Soldier Field. THAT'S CRAZY No way I'm going to spend that to see a washed up Axl limp his way through their old catalog. Heck, the tickets in Cincy are even MORE expensive right now

This isn't the GNR of 20-30 years ago...

My dad bought front row tickets for this show in Cincinnati. I think they were like $350 a person or something crazy like that. Don't get me wrong, I love me some G'N'R, but not that much lol. He's going with a few of his buddies from work, and they all spent that much on their tickets, which is mind blowing. I guess to an extent I understand because if Tool did a show 15 - 20 years from now and I never thought I'd see them live again, I might be willing to commit like that. He grew up on G'N'R and similar bands, so it's about as invested in music as he could possibly be.

Shame there's no notice of there being any UK concert.
I'd really like to go, though.
Might as well just watch a live stream of it on some sites or whatever if possible, but it won't be the same experience.

I know it's been a little bit since this announcement, but Axl has really been killing it lately. Taking over for Brian Johnson with AC/DC, and sounding great. Unfortunately I won't be seeing them in Seattle, would love to, but didn't get tickets and it's just about sold out, or might be sold out last I heard. Would be great to see Slash/Axl/Duff on the same stage again, the shows they already did Axl sounded great.
