My favorite digimon game is Digimon World 1, due to many aspects of the game
1. Training and raising your digimon
2. Must feed and make sure they use the bathroom properly
3. The prosperity rate aka gathering digimon to the city to progress the story
4. When the digimon dies he is reborn anew giving the possibility of raising a new digimon
5. The battle system is great

So why do you love digimon, which is your favorite digimon game, how many times did you play through and what kept you coming back for more?

I love Digimon because it usually features unusual gameplay that always keeps me coming back to the series wanting more. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Digimon World Dawn for the Nintendo DS but don't get me wrong it is nothing impressive really. I have always enjoyed turn based RPGs and if you can apply it to a Digimon game then I'm sold.

I'm not sure what it is about Digimon that made me like it so much, but I've always liked it way more than Pokemon.  My favorite Digimon game would have to be Digimon World one, same as you.  I've never finished it but I've started new games multiple times.  I just enjoy training my Digimon and having them battle.  Once I had an Agumon that turned into a Bakemon, that really weirded me out.  Then I learned that it was because I didn't feed him well enough I believe...oops.

Digimon World 3 comes in at a close second mainly because there's more of a game to it.  It's basically a Final Fantasy game but with Digimon instead.  The furthest I remember making it in that game is the Pharaohmon battle.  I was in fourth grade and lost to him every time I fought him until one fateful day when I was finally able to beat him just barely.  Sadly, I was never able to continue from that save.  I'm not sure if the data got corrupted or if I just started playing other games, but now either way I don't have that memory card anymore.

Honorable mention to Digimon Rumble Arena, the one Digimon game that I have actually beaten multiple times.  I mainly beat it the first time just so I could play as Reapermon.  Eventually, I got motivated enough to go and unlock all the rest of the characters and I ended up using Omnimon more than Reapermon in the end.  I'm not sure why, but despite playing rumble arena way more I still consider the world games to be better.  I guess it must be that in the world games you have more of an attachment to your Digimon than in rumble arena which is just a fighting game.  Or it could just be that I'm a little bit biased towards rpg's...it's probably that.
