I guess I'm in, but depends on when, etc... I would like to be in a team but if it's 1v1 then okay.

Tyrian Delirium : you said in the first post of this thread to ask what we think about it and thats what i did. my opinion and facts has shown that normal computers cant run this game. these are the things you need to consider when starting a league, not everyone can join. dark soul examples were for Jordanv78 who thought the game was o.k to run in a normal computer, if you look at it the numbers, graphics are down to 361% and it takes 110% more power than it should. There is no way rocket league can run in a normal computer with that requirement.

i was avoiding the topic of steam being bad, i could have put more bad examples of steam but didnt because that would be off topic. Next time when you make a thread asking "what we think about it" maybe consider that there will be some people who might not like the idea.

Your first post was about your opinion and i respected that and gave it a fair answer... Then every subsequent post you made just had more and more reasons why it's "wrong"

There's having an opinion and then there's actively going out of your way to try and prove your right... when in reality opinions have no base to right and wrong really.. (well in this thread at least) 

I've stated the reasons once but i'll do so again. 

This is a competition that isn't focused on the RGR (i state this in the first 2 lines of my first post)
I know a lot of users here have rocket league and that some actively enjoy the game. 
I also know that it's an easy game to manage a league for and that the matches are short (5 mins + overtime sometimes)
I picked this game because it doesn't take a lot of investment time as well. As users are generally busy
The game is relatively cheap 
The game is actually relatively easy to run, despite your claims. 
Considering this is a gaming site you'd expect people who are into Games to maybe have more than a notebook for example. (Of course not everyone has) 
Also your computer can barely run dark souls 1 jus saiyan.. so it's clearly a pretty old computer or one that's not design for games to begin with.  

So finally to add a conclusion to this whole thing. 

I accepted that you don't like the idea in the first post. and gave my reason for not wanting to play an older game. You then on several occasions added more reasons why this isn't a good idea and i rebuked them with answers.. Which of course is fair. There's a difference in behaviour from not liking an idea, to outright trying to prove it's wrong... jus saiyan.... anyways.. I'm closing this as i got a decent response. 

mastergame : Dude, 3000$ Computer? I'm not sure what you are getting at here, but an average computer can run this game fairly well.

Ive been working in the IT industry for 15+ years now. I've run this game on a computer with a Nvidia GTX 670, multiple times, which is a less than 200$ graphics card. Also while streaming on Twitch and recording the gameplay all at the same time. So I advise you to look into current PC pricing. You could get a 600$ computer on amazon to run this game.

Recommended specs are as follows and are 100% legit as far as I've experienced.

Processor: 2.0+ GHz Quad core
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia 260 series or ATI 5850 or better
DirectX: Version 9.0c

Again, it sounds like you have a closed mind based off other peoples opinions. I advise you to actually check it out for yourself and keep a more open mind about things.

Tyri asked what people think to try to gauge interest and see if he could get enough people interested to hold a competition. He even said "this thread initially is to see who would be interested in such a league". You saying that you're not interested is good enough. At the point, we don't care what you have to say on the topic anymore. Suggesting other games, complaining about the hardware requirements, and complaining about Steam is irrelevant, annoying, and pointless.

Regardless of whether or not that's true, it's pointless to talk about. People who can't run the game won't be interested in a tournament for people who play that game. That's it.

Why? Tyri isn't looking to start a league for everyone. He's just trying to get people together playing a game that he enjoys. He has absolutely no obligation to make sure that everyone can join his league.

Next time someone creates a thread asking if you're interested in something and you're not, just say no. Feel free to explain why you're not interested (you can't run the game, you don't like steam, etc.), but don't push it so much. One post in this thread was more than enough.

Now don't bother to respond to me, I won't bother reading it. Just breathe, leave this thread, and move on to things that you're actually interested in. If you want to keep arguing with Jordan about what is and isn't a normal computer, do everyone else a favor and take it to a PM.

I missed the part that said it was an Intel HD 4200 Mobile... what my eyes focused on was the big X.

Regardless, what does that have to do with anything?
