Since this forum doesn't seem to have any sort of search utility function, I have to make a thread on this here.

So I've been playing Pokemon Glazed recently and seems that it was being removed by Nintendo or whatever. But this didn't bother me, as I could still load a previously saved game and I could still play it; but loading it again today, I ended up getting this message:

"Error: Failed to download server file version info"

I've experienced this problem before on a few other games I played a few years ago. and not because it was removed like this one, but I managed to fix it somehow a few years ago, but now I totally forgotten about what I did. Can anyone refresh my memory and tell me how to fix this error? Because seeing this message again, it's seriously starting to piss me off. :/

mazeppa : This has been an issue for many people, starting since last night I think. I notified the owner so he should be doing his best to fix it.

The most I can ask for is for your patience, because I assure you the problem is being resolved and you should be able to get back to gaming very soon.

It's really only an error on the server side, so there's not much else we can really do to help other than notify the owner. Luckily, the RGR is one of his top priorities so he should be on top of it.

(If it also helps, this has currently been confirmed to be an issue with the 1964 emulator for N64, and the Visual Boy Advance emulator for GBA. Other systems should work, if you're interested in using those until the problem is fixed. I'll also notify you when it's been resolved, if you would like that.)

^ Oh I see.

I thought this had something to do with my side, granted that I experienced a black-out 12 hours ago and my laptop automatically had to shut down because of it; and having not remembered anything I done a few years ago to resolve it, it kinda made me nervous somehow.

Anyway, glad it's not anything to do with that black-out incident 12 hours ago. But since I'm quite used to using VBA for the spacebar function though, I'll just refrain from playing until it gets fixed in the end, I guess.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just an FYI, the Mednafen emulator works fine during this strange server side issue that's going on for VBA and 1964 for N64.

Also, just an FYI for the future, you can search the ENTIRETY of vizzed via google.

Something like this for example - Vizzed.com: VBA issues

Hope that helps!

I encountered this problem as well when using MAME and MESS.
I found that pressing the reset button at the bottom of the game screen seemed to fix it, although, there were a few occasions where it took 2 or 3x to get it up and running.
