As said by David in the new announcement, the Play Your Own Games feature should theoretically keep all save files still on Vizzed servers. A friend of mine just got into playing on the RGR and was playing Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones before the whole lawsuit deal and lost 16+ hours of progress. I want to help him out, so I want to know if anyone can share what kind of ROM files or urls can successfully work with the feature and keep his old save.

I've tried this before with some of the GBA roms I have on my computer such as Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid: Fusion, but I've had no such luck with it.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure I've done this before but, in hindsight, I should have just posted this in the general questions thread regarding the feature. I really suck at not using megathreads of the sort. Whoever sees this, make of it what you will.

In order to continue a game from your old saves you need to click load rom in the play your games screen, and then look in this directory

C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginDownloads

You should find any game you played on the site before the lawsuit and they will contain any saves you had as well.

Is your friend using the same emulator?
Check that he/she is using the same one they did originally.
