OMGPOP once had 5 million registered users.

Zynga bought the site for 250 million dollars, but because no one likes that company, most people left, forcing Zynga to shut the place down.

Two friends of mine were able to back up the site and was able to keep it running for another year or two.

For some reason, certain features began breaking until it eventually stopped working several months ago.

If you could somehow restore that gaming site, I think it would generate a huge traffic of visitors again.

Here's the last message on why the site no longer functions.

If you want, I can give you my friend's Facebook page and he most likely would give you the entire site he backed up.

I think this is a really good idea.

Any thoughts of your own on it?

You might want to summon him if he hasn't seen this or replied by now. I'd do it, but I don't want to bother him if it's already been addressed. Just a heads up if that happens to be the case. It would be cool if he could manage something of a merger like this.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
