I say beyond good and evil is another great game. But wasn't one of the popular ones out there sadly. It has amazing gameplay. Lovely story but the ending just kills it for me. Overall I really love the game. I recommend you to try it out you may enjoy it yourself.

There's a great flight game on the PS2 called Sky Odyssey and it never seems to get much attention. It's a great action adventure game that focuses on flying in rough conditions as opposed to just dogfights as you would see usually in other games. You gotta use your flight skills to go through the different mountains, ravines, tunnels, forests, etc. that the game throws at you while battling against various types of weather conditions and obstacles. It also has great replayability with the ranking system that gives more points by finishing the stage in the target time, doing risky stunts, and reaching for the checkpoints. The only real bad thing I have to say about it is that the graphics are quite bland with generic and ugly terrain and alright plane models (although given how its an extremely early PS2 and large the world is in the game I can forgive it that) and the physics can be a little unrealistic at times. It's probably the closest you'd to having normal flight game with actual flight sim mechanics on a console.

I love Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.

It got a lot of hate because Phoenix wasn't the main character but I really don't get why that is such a problem. He still played a big and arguably the most important role in the game, and basically did a lot of stuff behind the scenes that people somehow didn't notice.

I have to agree that the second and third cases were a bit... meh. The characters in case 2 were boring (aside from the guy who steals panties) and the story / investigation in case 3 was a big letdown.

Though in my opinion the game had the strongest first case of any Ace Attorney game, and the only one where the killer wasn't obvious from the beginning. The last case was amazing and it did a nice job of finishing the story, aside from one major question left unanswered.

This is an easy one to me...

Sparkster for the SNES and Rocket Knight Adventures for the Genesis. I've done reviews of both of these games already, so instead of reiterating my points from those reviews, I'll just link those reviews instead.

I'm a sucker for tactical RPGs (Except Fire Emblem, I hate Fire Emblem.) and two of my all-time favorite T-RPGs are generally obscure and unknown; the Shining Force series, and Utawarerumono.

I loved Shining Force 1 and 2 mostly because of its huge and interesting variety of playable characters. I mean, come on, you can recruit an armadillo piloting a steampunk powersuit and a flying magic-casting jellyfish among others!

Utawarerumono was actually originally an eroge (If you don't know what this is, you're not old enough.) and T-RPG hybrid, though it did eventually have a non-eroge PS2 port. The eroge features were unimpressive and easily ignored, but the gameplay and story, on the other hand... The story was fun, and the gameplay was excellent and quite addicting (even if you had to deliberately lose if you wanted to grind), and I loved playing it! Shame it's borderline impossible to find the PS2 rom and the English patch for it now...

Also, is anyone familiar with Stone Soup Dungeon Crawl?

Sonic Unleashed is a notoriously hated Sonic game that I know and love, simply because people hate on the Werehog.  I know it slows the game down, and I know some people keep saying it's kind of a God of War rip-off, but I find it fun and challenging enough to explore each zone at night (yes, I'm that kind of Sonic fan) and grind up on EXP so I can get better and better.  I'm really sorry, but I love that.  Though, that's not to say I don't like the normal daytime zones.  I love the daytime ones, it's just that they can get a little tricky and gimmicky, especially the faster Sonic goes.  Plus, this was back when Sega thought it would be a good idea to make the Sonic Drift move incredibly loose, requiring extensive knowledge and practice of both the move and Sonic's increase in speed until it's perfected, as it's imperative for later zones like Jungle Joyride Zone.  But even then, at the end of the day, I think this is a Sonic game I'd go back to again and again...but not necessarily to delete my save data, because there is no way in heck I'm going to hunt for those medals for the second time.  Things are diabolically placed...like Green Stars...

One of my favorites is PuLiRuLa.  It's an extremely bizarre game but I really enjoyed it quite a bit when I first played it.  Another one of my favorites is ESP Ra.De., which is an awesome bullet hell shooter developed by Cave.  In fact, any game made by Cave is awesome to me.

Catherine. It's a terrific game, with great writing, voice acting, graphics, music, and gameplay. I absolutely love it to death. Basically, it's about a guy called Vincent who ends up drunkenly sleeping with a girl named Catherine, cheating on his fiance Katherine. Well, he ends up going to some seriously screwed up dream world every night, where you have to climb blocks and ascend, or face certain death as the floor beneath you falls. If you die in the dream, you die in real life. Many people go to this dream world every night, but everybody forgets about it in the morning. They just wake up feeling exhausted, not knowing why. Basically, the flow of the game is daytime cutscenes, chilling at the bar with your friends and strangers (many of whom are suffering the same dreams you are and you can talk to), and puzzles. It's an odd mix, but it's absolutely wonderful.

Outside of the game, the inspiration for the story was actually about the rapidly declining birth rates in Japan. Men unwilling to commit to a relationship, and women who care more about technology than intimacy. It's definitely a recurring theme in the game, but it's not heavy handed, and never feels forced.

I will say though: it's definitely an M for Mature game. I wouldn't recommend it if you're younger. Veeeeery adult parts, and the story deals with mature themes such as anxiety, doubt, fear of commitment, and other heavy themes. I would absolutely recommend it if you're mid-late teens though. All around terrific game, and a personal 10/10. One of the best games of gen 7

This is a tough choice, but I have to go with any Tony Hawk game (primary American Wastland prior and Pro Skater 5).

A lot of critics say that "it's not a real skateboarding game, because it's not "realistic skateboarding" and all", not all games have to be realistic, as long you enjoy the game, that's all that matters. I personally enjoy Tony Hawk games regardless what the critics says.

This is not hated, just underrated. Metal Saga for PS2. It is a post apocalypse RPG and you need to have a tank to survive. It was a bit offbeat, but it was fun. And the music is awesome,I will link a track.

Duke Nukem Forever gets a really bad rap and I understand why but when I played it I had fun.

Sure it wasn't revolutionary, and yes it was very immature; but it felt like a Duke Nukem game and it was fun while it lasted.
