I was just wondering what is it that Makes threads more likely to get replies. I noticed that some get a few more quickly than others. Do some of you only reply to threads with people you already know and interact with on regular basics? Or simply not interested? Sorry if this came out as a stupid question. I just wanted know from other people's perspective.

I can't really speak because I just signed up, but the threads I am really attracted to are the ones asking somewhat broad questions- ones that can be fairly easily answered.

The threads I reply to the most happen to be the ones in Vizzed Market, how else do you think I got all my viz? lol. I'm honestly a pretty free rider when it comes to what I reply to. I just do so with any threads I actually have things to say things on. I won't waste my time on threads I only really have to give one-word replies to. The only exceptions to this rule are some forum games that I'll occasionally be around here and there.

I just reply to anything where I think I might have something to contribute to the conversation. If it's a serious thread that I have nothing to contribute to, or if it's a serious question that I can't answer, then I just leave the thread there without posting in it. I just feel that posting in a thread like that without contributing anything to the conversation would be a bit callous. Even when I post in threads about other people made by other people when I haven't talked to those people much, I feel guilty. Am I just weird or something?

I reply to any threads that interest me, to be honest. Those and forum games. Games are easy to participate in. And I rarely find any debate threads that interest me enough to reply to. I prefer replying to video game, or movie related threads myself. Although life in general is always a nice topic to post about too.

I like posting in forum games just like user. I also like posting in the Debate forum, even thought I don't do it very much. As long as I know about the subject we are debating, and my feelings are strong enough for me to make an argument, but not strong enough to rage in the post, I like to post in the debate threads. I also like posting in the Pokémon and Sports forums.

Why?  The above forums especially no.1 is really close to my heart and being a Christian I (sometimes) feel obligated to reply to genuine questions about the Christian faith. 
Every thing else I reply to simply because I have an interest in it or if I feel I can really help someone with an answer.

I mostly reply to threads where there's sincere questions and the person/s are genuinely looking for answers.  If I feel that I can relate or help, I will reply.
