I played both of them before, but my vote will go to sonic. While I did enjoyed playing klonoa games it never gave me the same action feeling like the sonic games did. Actually, I wonder if anymore remembers klonoa at all. Seeing him fall into obscurity was rather sad.

Honestly I have heard of Klonoa but I've never played it. That being said, Sonic all the way!! Considering the original 3 Sonic games and Sonic and Knucles are some of my most favorite games, I doubt a rabbit cat thing from the GC/PS2 era could compare.

ChibiCommander : Actually Klonoa was from the N64/PSX era. Not sure how many generations he lasted, but yeah. You should definitely give Klonoa: Door To Phantomile a try. It's a pretty great game as side scrolling Platformers go.

As for the question here, I prefer Klonoa hands down. I've only played one Klonoa game, but I just don't enjoy Sonic games with the exception of 3D Blast which I thought was pretty decent.
And I actually really enjoyed Klonoa: Door To Phantomile quite a bit. I found it on a demo disc for the PSX and played through the entire demo two or three times I liked it so much. Then years later I found it on Vizzed and played through the same area that the demo disc had on it and lost internet connection on my PC which meant I had to stop. Then tonight I found it on PSN and I'm seriously contemplating buying it so I can finally finish the thing. Lol
