Hey! I found a story on my attic! It's an unique one though, as it's subject is different. Looking at it, it may be containing the love story of a classmate of mine... Chapter 8: Lucy "I was As my alarm clock made a lot of noise, i decided to turn it off. I went out of my bed, not realizing my Lola: "MREEOOWW!!!" Lucy: "Oh! Sorry, lola!" Lola: "Hiss!!" Lola was kinda angry for what i did. I stepped on her tail, and she doesn't like that at all. No cat loves that. I was putting on some proper clothes, as i was sweating last night and decided to put off some clothes. I know why i was sweating, though: I have a curse. Yes, an actual curse. I have to find a boyfriend before the curse gets fysical. The curse would be broken if i kissed somebody i love. Now it gives me the worst nightmares i could think of. Like Lola being a zombie. I finished putting on my clothes, walked towards the door, opened it... and... Lucy: "*gasp*" ???: "Wow, you must've been staying up late last night..." It was my dad. He had a knife in his hand. I got scared, because maybe he wanted to kill me. Father: "Come on, have a seat!" Lucy: "huh?" We walked to the living room. My brother Rigel was turning 12 today. I am the elder sister of 2 boys and a baby girl. And the daughter of a loving father. Rigel: "Wow, guys! Look what i got from uncle Bobby: A space-rocket!" Jeffrey: "Really? When do i get some birthday presents, dad?" Father: "If it's your birthday, of course!" He was slicing a cake. That's why he had that knife. Jeffrey: "When is my birthday, dad?" Father: "On the 27th of April, of course!" Rigel: "You have to wait, little brother..." Jeffrey had a low IQ, so he wouldn't quite know everything correctly. I feel sad for him, though. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Lucy: "I'll open it!" I opened the door. It was our grandmother Alice. Lucy: "Oh, grandma! Shall i help you, Alice?" Alice: "No, thank you. I might be 76, but i can still walk!" Lucy: "*sigh*" Alice had a huge present for Rigel. It looked like it was as tall as my youngest sister is. Alice: "Here you go, Rigel. I won't say what it is, though!" Rigel: "Sometimes a joke or a lie is good, but don't lie all the time!" Alice: "He remembered what i said! Most children don't know that anymore!" Father: "I told him to remember that." Jeffrey: "Sis? Lucy? Where are you?" I went outside, sitting aside the road. Father: "Lucy? Princess?" Dad opened the frontdoor and saw me sitting there. Father: "Hey, princess..." Lucy: "..." Father: "What's wrong, Lucy?" Lucy: "*sniff*" Father: "Tell me..." Lucy: "Valentine's Day in 2 days and i still have no boyfriend... I would really like to... get one..." Father: "Well..." Rigel: "Dad! Jeffrey is playing with the furnace!" My dad went inside, while i went up and walked away, to a place where no one could find me. No one? I was walking towards a forest of where the people of the town i lived in said there was a ghost couple looking for each other, and are still searching after one whole century. It became colder, as it was still winter time and it started to get dark. Lucy: "Brrr... It's so cold..." I looked at my watch. According to the legend, that couple could appear at 7:00 PM. Lucy: "6:50 PM... I'd better survive that couple... The man was a criminal and the woman likes to harm people..." Suddenly, a loud crashing sound of a radio falling into pieces appeared. CRASH!! Lucy: "*gasp!* It's almost time! I'd better get out of..." I looked around. Lucy: "Oh no... I'm lost... I don't know where i came from..." ???: "I'll take you out of here." Lucy: "What?..." I looked around again, but i saw no one. Lucy: "Aaaaaaah!! A ghost!!" ???: "Shh!! Be quiet! They might hear you!" I looked behind me. There was a boy from my age standing there. He had brown, slightly long hair, blue eyes like me and he was wearing a grey hoodie. ???: "I can take you out of here! Trust me!" Lucy: "W-who... are you?" ???: "I'm Felix. And you?" Lucy: "Lucy..." Felix: "You got scared, aren't you? Well, you don't have to be afraid if i'm around. I'll learn these ghosts a lesson!" Lucy: "How? They're ghosts!" Felix: "Don't worry, i have a flashlight, a vacuum cleaner, and more. Now, that way!" He points at a house. We were running towards the house. He suddenly stopped halfway the road. I thought he was checking something... But... Felix: "Oh, (****)!!!" Lucy: "What?!" Felix: "Uh... what street do you live in?" Lucy: "Larry McKinseyroad 14... Why?" Felix: "We will head to your home! That house is gonna explode!" Lucy: "Huh?!" Felix: "Every year that house is gonna explode, because it's Valentine's Day and i always do that on Valantine's day!" Lucy: "..." Felix: "Sorry! Felix: "Great, now John comes with his broken neck..." John appeared. His head was like a... how to describe that... It looked funny, but also scary. He had that broken neck... Lucy: "Please... *sniff* ...I don't wanna die..." Felix: "You're not! You're... what age?" Lucy: "19..." Felix: "You're 19 years, so you don't need to die yet! Otherwise i'll finish this zombie couple!" Lucy: "*gasp!*" John was looking at Lucy through her window. He had his head laying sideways, looking at Lucy with his hollow eyes. John: "Loooove..." Lucy: "No!! Not with you!!" I kicked John's head. It flew away, as it got released from it's body. It landed in a tree, which was lucky though: John wasn't dead yet. He ran after his head, giving us enough time to flee. Felix: "Good going, Lucy!" Lucy: "Th-thanks..." The car finally reacted when Felix tried over and over again. Felix: "Hold on!" The car could move, so our friends went to the exit of the forest. 2 minutes later, they hit Marie. Lucy: "Good going, Felix!" Felix: "Thank you, miss!" another 2 minutes later, we reached the exit. I was glad i was out of that creepy forest! 2 days later, at home... Rigel: "Wow! A 3-in-1 building kit! Thanks, Felix!" Felix: "You're welcome, though i'm the last one who gives him somebody!" Father: "Well, normally i wouldn't let someone i don't know in... But you saved my daughter. That's why i let you in." Felix: "It was nothing, mister. I'm used to that forest. I know everything and everyone in that forest." Lucy: "Wait... "Everyone"? You weren't alone?" Felix: "Lucy, remember Marie and John?" Lucy: "Oh yeah. Sorry." Jeffrey: "Big sis! Wanna join us?" Lucy: "Yes they did: They're my loving family." Father: "Well, go ahead! I'll check your sister Jess!" Lucy: "Ok, dad!" 3 hours later... We were playing the story Rigel told us to do. We used action-figures, robots, a princess Rigel accidentally got and his own toys. Rigel: "Pow! Pow! You never get me, evil spaceship!" Felix: "You wish! I got these... cannons, king Rigel!" Jeffrey: "Oh no! King Rigel, what should we do now?!" Rigel: "Well, i have the magical wand!" Lucy: "Please! Save me! He wants to make a statue of you, king!" Rigel: "Jester, get my magical wand!" Jeffrey: "Yes, sir!" Rigel: "Thank you! Now, time to build our robot!" Father: "Felix! Are your parents around here somewhere?" Felix: "I don't have any parents anymore..." Lucy: "Oh my... Really?!" Felix: "Yep... *sigh* I'm homeless... Father: "You can stay here, if you want!" Rigel/Jeffrey: "Awesome! Say yes, Felix!" Felix: "How can i say no if three of my first friends are here and they have a loving father? I'd say yes!" Lucy: "Oh god... another boy..." Later, upstairs... Lucy: "And this is our bedroom!" He came up to my face again, this time he didn't looked at my earrings, but... He kissed me. On my mouth. I felt a shock through my whole body: The curse was broken. He was kissing me, oh my god! I was holding his shoulders. It felt nice. Kissing with someone you love. KNOCK! KNOCK! 14 minutes later, dad knocked the door. Father: "Hey. Is everything alright here? I heard a horrible sound!" Felix: "B-but... We didn't make a sound." Father: "That's why i heard it. It was nothing." Felix: "Ok?" Lucy: "Dad!" Father: "Yes, princess?" Lucy: "Please... Can you get out?" Father: "What? I didn't do anything! Why should i leave?" Felix: "Because... eh..." We started to blush. Felix blushed more than i did. Heh heh. Father: "Ah. I see. I interrupted a conversation where you confessed your love to each other... My apologize... But don't do bad or crazy stuff to each other, ok?" Both: "Yes, dad." Dad closed the door when he left.
