The very first console I played games on was the classic "NES". The very old 8-bit console. Soon after that my father managed Ti get a PlayStation 1 and chipped it and downloaded 150-200 games. Definitely my favorite console.

Holy cow..... my first console, was a GameBoy Color/ My grandmother's SNES. Believe it or not, My grandmother is the one who started me on Video games. She played Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, pretty much all the big Nintendo franchises.

LunarDarkness2 : my first console was probably the nintendo 64. it had been my dad's apparently, and we found it at my grandpa's house. it had mortal kombat, super mario 64, and that star wars pod racer game. the 64 disappeared though, and i don't know what happened to it.

My first console was a Ps2. I got it in 2006, or 2007, I don't remember. My first handheld was a Nintendo DS lite, got it in either 2006 or 7.

A Dell laptop running Windows XP that I held behind my back and stupidly dropped, eventually crashing the hard drive, snapping the video cables, and destroying it. It was quite a few years (as you can imagine) before I got my next console, a DS Lite. I snapped that in half. My brother's DS Lite as well. Once again, a few years before I got my next console, a DSi XL. Snapped in half (I never learn...) Then a tablet, which a few months ago, I stupidly deleted the Android OS off it. I actually recovered it with RILEYROW 1.3, though. It was a Hisense Sero 8. Now, the USB port on it is broken. Ugh. That will cost about 70 dollars to fix, since they (repair store) usually just replace the mainboard. Sorry about the full review, just thought you might be interested in my whole console history (also, TDV)

My all time favorite, Nintendo 64. That was my baby; I played it until it no longer turned on   Before that the consoles we had in our home were shared and by that I mean my older siblings thought they ruled over it so I don't count those since I barely got to see them lol. PlayStation One specially- that thing brought turmoil and WWE created a strong rivalry.

My first console was the PlayStation 2. I got this when I was 7 or 8 years old and later got 3 games on it: NBA Live '08, Madden '08, and NASCAR '09.

Soon after that, I got a Wii and had a bunch of games(mostly Mario games like Mario Party, Mario Kart, and Mario Strikers Charged).

A year or two after that, I got a DS. My first game and first Pokémon game was Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. I haven't played any of these in a while, as we got an XBOX recently. We traded in our Wii because it was broken, but Gamestop gives out barely anything for the PS2 and its games.

The first console that I have played in my lifetime is the NES that I remember playing in 1990, which I also think that the NES is the best console ever. I mean I have played the PS3 and now the PS4 the most recently, but I still think that there is no console like the NES. My favorite video games that I have ever played are on the NES...Tecmo Super Bowl, Marble Madness, Super Mario Bros, Clash at Demonhead, and plenty more. Thanks to this website, I can still remember the games I played in my childhood.

First ever console I owned was the PS2. I still love that thing, playing games like Crash, Spyro, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, and Need for Speed never got old for me. My first handheld console would be the Gameboy Advance SP, which would open up the world of Nintendo to me with games like Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby and the Magical Mirror, Pokemon, and A Link to the Past. Not to mention the backwards compatibility on both systems allowed me to experience older games on the original Gameboy, Gameboy color, and PS1.

The very first console I owned was a Sega Mega Drive or Genesis as they're known by in the U.S. I remember owning a plug and play game with spiderman at some point before that but I wouldn't count that since it wasn't really a real console.

I didn't buy it but got it from some friends of my grandpa and grandma who didn't need it anymore. I used to mostly play Aladdin and Pinocchio on it since I was a fan of the movies, Pinocchio becoming the first game I ever beat (not that hard since it's pretty short) and I think I was close to beating Aladdin at some point too. I did try Sonic the Hedgehog 2 as well but didn't like it as much because I wasn't familiar with it and found it frustrating. I think I also had Afterburner 2 but only ever tried playing it a few times, didn't like it since I preferred platformers at the time and found it scary because of the violence (yes I was easily scared as a kid, though keep in mind I was only like 6 or something at the time). I was a very casual gamer back then but I remember still having a lot fun of with it. I eventually gave it away when I later got a Gamecube and more or less never saw it again after that.

I believe the first console I had was the N64. It came out around the time I was born, and my parents bought it when I was ~4 years old. That was my first introduction to video games and I've been hooked ever since. I think my first game was either Super Mario 64 or Mario Kart 64.

My first was the Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP. My brother and I both got one at the same time, back when they were still new systems...wow. We played the heck out of those things, and I still play mine occasionally. Then later we bought a used Gamecube from a friend, and that was our first real console. I still have that and play it quite often.

My first console was either the GameCube or the GameBoy Colour, the latter being formerly my sister's.

I have a lot more memories with the GameCube and I have many stories involving me playing it for hours on end. The Colour, however, I only had one game on. It was a Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets RPG game. I couldn't wrap my head around it and got destroyed in every battle.

It was either a Game Boy Advanced or a GameCube, I got both of them around the same time. I was 4 or 5 when I got them so I'm really not sure which came first. I don't even remember what my first game was. It was probably a Sesame Street game or something like that.

I was kinda surprised I didn't see a post of mine in this thread! Anyways, my first console was an Atari 2600 that my dad brought home when I was about 6 years old. Had a lot of fun playing games with him. Then about a year or two later, my grandpa bought me an NES.
