So, I've tried tons of suggestions from the internet, ranging between the "change your ip" thing to the dos thing, but if anyone has ANY suggestion, please drop it down below, especially since I'm certain I'm not the only one with this issue.

You never actually said what te problem is. What's actually wrong with the internet? Can you not connect to the internet at all? Is it starting and stopping? Can you not access certain things? You posted here so it seems like you are using the internet unless you are on something else

The internet half works? It's sometimes working (recently I'm lucky) but sometimes there is a yellow triangle with an ! in it on the wifi symbol, which means the connection is "Limited" ergo, I can connect to the router almost all the time but the internet doesn't work for whatever reason. It's stupidly hard to pinpoint the actual issue, but instead of working for an hour and then cutting out, it cuts out every ten minutes or so.

Do other devices connect to your router? Have you tried the troubleshooting option?

One of the updates for Windows 10 recently screwed up a few internet protocols for some people, and there's a separate fix for that, but you should make sure it's not a basic problem first.

The answer to both is yes. It used to say things and I would fix them with stuff I googled - keyword googled. I didn't download anything but eventually I just did a system restore. Now when I try the troubleshoot option it says something about how my wifi adapter doesn't have a proper ip or something? It says it fixes it but everytime it's limited again it says the same thing, and that it fixes it. I tried setting an ip manually and I haven't had issues in a few hours, but I'm not willing to reset right now to find out if it'll keep working.

Check the properties of your network adapter and make sure that IPv4 is enabled.

That's the limited signal. After resetting it's happening ~every thiry seconds or so? Leaving me very little wifi time.

I don't think your problem has anything to do with Windows 10. I've been using Windows 10 since they allowed me to DL it and I've never had ONE issue. I'm thinking that the problem is coming from somewhere else. Either your router, or the wireless card itself.

If your issue is weak Wifi signal, I would suggest looking into What might be interfering with your signal and if you can move your router to an area that would provide better signal throughout where you want to play.

How old is your wireless router?

Jordanv78 : It looks like he has 3 bars which is a fairly good connection.

SeveredGodGear : Try resetting your modem and router. Unplug them for at least 30 seconds so the cache can be cleared.

SeveredGodGear : Well with limited information based on what you are giving us, Windows 10 probably isn't the problem.

I would look further into your router and your modem. A call to your ISP might shed some light on what might be causing the issue. Making sure that you are running the up to date drivers/software for both could help a lot. Also, if you are using equipment from your ISP, I would also suggest exchanging it for new modems/routers as it's not abnormal for those things to start acting up after a couple years of heavy use.

SeveredGodGear : If the signal is dropping like that, then it more likely has to do with router.
Are there a lot of electronics or other obstacles between you and the router?

SeveredGodGear : If you are that close to your router, why don't you just plug directly into it with a cable? You will get WAY faster internet speeds being directly connected to it.

SeveredGodGear : Well with limited information and other than trying a different router, or re-positioning it, I would advise you to plug directly in. That way you can at least use the internet and it will be faster for gaming purposes. At least until you can figure out what's going on with your router.

Jordanv78 : All devices have issues connecting to it, with seemingly no correlation to eachother. As for whether it's purchased or from my provider, it's from the provider. I'll likely be moving within a month, and change my provider. For now I'm assuming it's hardware based. Until I change the provider, I plan on not spending money. It's not a big issue anyways, considering I can use the internet albeit in parts
