Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster will be coming out on January 19th, but do you think it will be good?

I am a fan of the Resident Evil games but I never played the original Zero which came out more than a decade ago and only started liking the series recently, like 4 or 5 years ago maybe.

Any fans of the series who are excited about the new remake or can tell me what it's abut and whether it will be worth getting if I never played the original?

That's awesome! I like resident evil. Lets hope nothing annoying of a character will happen again lol. Lets hope it would be greatly expected. Not rushed. And a great game to sit down to play. XD

zanderlex : I've played some of them in the past but it wasn't the rgr ones zander. For me I enjoyed the 4th one. I think from then I forgot at times to update myself of any new recent resident evil games. For the game it has mixed reviews because Ashley tends to scream a lot which put of a lot off people.'-'

Well, I think it will be worth playing it, If price is not too bad. If so, I'll get it for Xbox One.
I've played much earlier versions of Resident Evil for PlayStation One and I loved it like crazy. It was scary, entertaining, it followed the movie very closely, and I would actually scream and clinch a lot. But, that was it, later versions in my opinion deviated from the movie and became it's own identity and it just killed it for me because it was less scary and I felt that it lost the whole character of the Umbrella Corporation that it originally carried over. This remake supposedly is a prequel to the first Resident Evil game (I do not like that they make up new characters rather than using the ones in the movie- yes, I am infatuated with the movies) but, at least it seems to kick back to the origins of T-virus. It also has "partner zapping" so you can switch between characters at any time which may not sound like a big deal except for the fact that each character has different skills.

I will keep an eye on this game because Resident Evil HD  (remake of 2002 Resident Evil which is a remake of 1996 Resident Evil- the one I super enjoyed and loved to play back in the day) has the "biggest-selling day one digital title" for the PSP. I've been reading about it and look forward to more information about the missions themselves because to me that's really my interests- how scary, interactive, graphics, and actual online gameplay. Guess, we'll have to wait how Japan responds to this game before we can get our hands on it.

I think the game itself will be awesome, and it would be hard to mess up a remake of a game that has already been remade once (resident evil zero for gamecube).
The original is also awesome, I highly recommend it. It's not even that much money for the PS1 original.
Although I have mixed feelings about the episodic nature. The game wasn't originally episodic, and part of the survival horror experience is just playing until you need relief of pressure, and being able to explore to your heart's content. Episodic gaming limits these things and while I'm certainly not against episodic gaming, I'm tentative for this game because it never was episodic in the first place.

taterii : Sweet, ill admit, that makes me a bit more interested in the game. Its still a bit low on the list of games that I plan on getting, but its there, and if I get a chance, ill try yo play it and see what its like. Thanks!
