Target has a special deal for the Scorch Trials DVD. I never saw it and I want to eventually, but I want to get ideas from others.

The normal DVD is $15 and comes with the movie and free money for the game. The fan edition costs $25 and comes with that and also the blue ray edition and an HD digital edition, along with a 2 hour bonus feature CD and a 24 page comic book.

Then you have the super fan edition. It also costs $25 and comes with everything the fan edition comes with but also has a limited edition movie photo book.

So that's 3 versions of the movie, 2 books, bonuses and game money. Thoughts?

It really depends if you like those extras.

Personally, I prefer Blu-ray over DVD and I like to watch the extras and read the comics or other supplemental materials.
So, for myself, if I were to get something like that, it would be worth it to me.

You just have to ask yourself if you Blu-ray vs DVD makes a difference to you and if you are going to actually watch the extras CD and read the comic.
If not, then no... its not worth it.

Vanelan : Well I don't have a blue ray player, but I still would have been able to use both the regular DVD and the digital edition that came with it.

I was so close to getting it but I instead opted to get a limited edition force awakens album and a limited edition album of one of my favorite music people which I plan on getting signed next week, and that was about $23 total.

Yea...if you don't have a Blu-ray player/PS3/4, then its really not worth getting those multi-format collections unless you are planning to get one soon...

Vanelan : Well, I do have a PS4 so it would be nice to be able to watch the blue ray versions there every now and then but that's going to be locked away for a while since I usually would be watching everything on my laptop.

I don't even think the movie is worth owning.
