janus : Well I'm saying that it ended up well despite my thoughts. You might recall the review, although it's been a while at this point. One side of me wants to try another simple RPG that I've played, but they are admittedly not many, and I really want to try to stray away from games I have a strong bias towards, so the likes of Kirby or Pokémon Mystery Dungeon are out of the question, too, even though I think I did okay staying objective with the likes of SMB3, one of my favorite platform games ever (like, fourth or fifth, although most people would consider that pretty low for SMB3 purely compared with others in its genre).

At the end, I'm just indecisive. As an hour passes by, I'm still at a complete loss as to which game to review.

Thank you very much for your interest in joining my team and I appreciate that you like the name, but I was already in the process of inviting some team members when I made this team. Right now, they're occupied in real life and can't participate (hoping they'll be able to return later this month), so I made this team for them for when they return to join the TDV. If they don't manage to return, I will probably also change the name of the team. I hope this doesn't discourage you from participating in another team though. I'm actually kind of surprised you didn't make your own team at the beginning, seeing as you performed very well during the last TDV and have continued to do so again this TDV. Kudos to you for obtaining White Banner points in 2 TDVs and I hope you'll be able to retain those points. ^^ Good luck with the White Banner!

Yuna1000 : Um, as "well" as I did last TdV, I only had nine points. That was a good amount from a New Member's perspective, but I'm expecting to double that already. But thanks anyways. I really doubt I'm losing this banner, even though I can't get more points towards it, come the 10th.

And no worries, definitely no hard feelings here, haha. If you already had them planned, then there's nothing for me to be upset about.

SWTerra : Just start with the "easiest", i.e. the ones that you remember the most. I remember the Mario games quite clearly even though I last played them on their original systems (damn, I feel old). As for others like Earthbound, I will need to play again because they did not leave such an impression.

Today ended up being an okay day thanks to the last couple hours of posting. If I'm lucky, I myself will be able to get at least 10 points for the llamas which shouldn't put us into too much of a hole depending on how good the gamers do. Tomorrow we need to fight more though if we want 1st.

You're not wrong on that, lol. I jumped from not even in the top five for red to actually winning the jersey (and yellow again, to both janus's and my surprise) with one review.

...Granted, my reviews also near 2000 words, so that's also another reason, but still.

Yeah, though, I was watching the word counts as the final minutes ticked. I really thought zander was going to pass you at the last second.

I know I probably ultimately won't be keeping up this insane level of effort, but I'll take it while it lasts! I'm so psyched that I managed to get a pretty solid victory for the red jersey today, too, as a non-trusted member.

SWTerra : I know how hard it is. For my first Tour de Vizzed, I had like, 10 reviews as a reserve but I did not write publish them properly and ended up at number 4 or 5. The key is consistency.

Anyway, I am glad gamer came back for posting! And for the green jersey at that!

janus : As I've been saying, I have no reserves. The most reserve I have is a semi-cancelled review that I might get back to doing later down the road.

But I still understand what you mean. I'm just looking for the daily and moral victories this time around. And also right now I'm trying to buffer my points lead for the White Banner before I'm ineligible on the 10th. Not that I expect competition, even if I don't gain any more points, but still.
