Are you guys going to try and farm the next hall of heroes? I managed to get Conrad from the last one. I just forgot to post about it. I made him to a 5 star and he's level 20 right now. I wonder what the next monster will be and if he'll be any good.

Domdof : I think I'm doing well so far. I doubt think its been a week yet since I started playing but I already have 1 5 star monster and 6 4 stars, and then like 10 3 stars that I'm gonna use to get another 5 star later on.

zanderlex : Whats your 5 star atm?

Domdof : My Hellhound (Awakened), and my Magic Knight. I'm about to 5 star Benard or Pieert also either today or tomorrow, not sure which.

Domdof : Now I have 6 5 star monsters, and I recently got my first natural 5 star, which is Desert Queen. I also have the awakened fairy at 5 star now.

I've played this game a LONG time ago, and have considered picking it up again, but honestly the game just isn't for me. There's too much grinding, and each battle is the same as the last. It was very hard for me to get a good start and even then I wasn't that strong. You'll either need to be very lucky or pay. Other than that its a pretty good game. I kinda found the unit designs a bit plain.

Also I've been traumatized from this sort of luck based unit collecting games since a game I've spent a lot of time (like a solid year +) and part of a gift card announced it was closing

so yeah, I'm not in the mood to start playing/revisiting new games, and especially not spending money on apps. 

And damn I can't believe how fast you progress Zanderlex! XD

Mangepic : Two days ago was my one month anniversary and right now I have 7 5 stars and about 16 4 Stars, and I'm also closing in on level 30.

It's another one of those free-to-play games that tries to badger you into paying money. I felt that the battle system was shallow at best, and I hit a brick wall very quickly that I couldn't get past without grinding or paying real money. Since I never pay real money for microtransactions in games like these, I just uninstalled the game and was done with it. There's a right way to do free-to-play, but this definitely isn't it. At least, not from my perspective.

I had a similar experience with another game that was very similar to this one, Walking Dead: Road to Survival. It had a similar character system, a similar star rating system, it felt like the same game with a Walking Dead skin. Of course, the exact same thing happened: I hit a brick wall that I couldn't pass without heavy grinding or paying real money, so I just quit the game.

zanderlex : How much money have you spent on this game? Now how many full games could you buy with that same amount of money? I'm not trying to be hostile, I'm just curious.

NovemberJoy : I spent $30, but the stuff I bought was more like skins in csgo, just to make stuff look better. If you play enough, all the stuff you can get by paying you will get for free eventually. The game crashed yesterday and Everyone got like $5 worth of stuff for free and you get stuff randomly.

Today I was able to bring my Desert Queen to 6 stars which I guess is pretty cool, but that's only because people told me that this was the monster that I had to bring to 6 stars, though I had ideas on other monsters to bring to this.

Ughh. I give in. This thread is tempting me to start this game again XD
I've completely forgotten how to play so  I think I'm gonna start fresh... If you guys want me to use your referral codes or something like that if they exist hurry up cause my internet is fast and i'm downloading right now XD
