Nice to meet you all.  I'm accessing the site all the way from Dark Land.  Not to be confused with Dark World.  Heh.  I can't imagine being a Moblin or following a big blue pig.  Even if there is some overlap in skill sets and behaviors if you catch my drift.  I mean one's a large red-haired warlock that kidnaps princesses and takes over the place only to be beaten by a singular hero.  The other is a large red-haired warlock that kidnaps princesses and takes over the place only to be beaten by usually a singular hero and sometimes he has a few helping hands around.  It's just that one tends to hijack other people's plots and the other sometimes gets hijacked.

I've seen this site pop up on my radar a few times and finally decided to check it out in full.  Nice variety in games and to my surprise there's a rom hack of the Mushroom Kingdom denizens being catchable in the Pokémon world.  I'll try that out after seeing about running Paper Mario.

Not sure how to finagle the post layouts thing but I got some ideas for my own customs.  Nothing too fancy, just a simple border with maybe a transparent background to give it some color.  Maybe snag a Doomship if someone has it available.  But hey, at least the newbie quiz was absurdly easy and pretty straight forward.  Just common sense required!  Heh.  I guess common sense ain't that common if you need to make the quiz in the first place, hmm?

So yeah.  Not much going on here.  Between plots as it were but I like it calm.  Not much to say about yours truly.  Got a love of magic - naturally - and I'm an avid reader.  Got an interest in games otherwise I wouldn't be here.  Had some trouble getting things started so I lost a few free plays but that should be easy to get around.  Get enough points and I should have access to everything forever, right?

Hi BlueMagikoopa and welcome to Vizzed Board! ~

Good to hear that you aren't following a big blue pig. Would've been terrible if the pig decides to kidnap the owner.

Vizzed has a lot of different games to try out. I've played Pokémon Mariomon before and I can say that it's a creative and fun game to play. Paper Mario is a fantastic choice too.

You can create layouts on this page (https://www.vizzed.com/smd/createlayout.php). If you become a Trusted member, you can make more advanced layouts like the one I am using right now.

If you post a lot, write a review/walkthrough, make screenshots/videos or decide to rate screenshots/videos, you'll get enough Viz to play everything you want.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask the Staff! Enjoy posting and happy gaming! ~

TornadoMudkip : Good evening, Mudkip. Thanks for the welcome.
From what I've heard Ganon is too obsessed with Hyrule to bother with a website.

I tried Mariomon.  It's not a bad graphic hack but the variety in monster sprite styles and quality is just off putting to me.  I'm hoping to find Moemon on the site but I'm currently busy with the Frog Bell gb game "Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru".  Its effectively a prototype of Zelda portable games (which is very true as I believe Nintendo used it as Link's Awakening's game engine) and I swear to high heaven that Prince Richard is Prototype Gary Oak.
But of course Paper Mario is a fantastic choice.  Overall each game was wonderful and I found the 3DS title to be surprisingly fun in spite of my distaste for most of the 3D-item stickers.

I did find the layouts after making this thread.  Currently just using this VVVVVV one until I can make my own.  I'm leaning towards either Christmas NiGHTS owing to the season or a SMB3 Doomship layout as per my title.

I've been somewhat spamming the Kaeru no Tame game's screenshots with various images and hoping I'm not spoiling anything for other people.  It's just that certain situations are just too bizarre not to screencap.

Vanelan :   Hello and thank you.  Well, I could be a rabbit but they don't serve that world's respective big blue warlock.  I favor RPGs, Metroidvanias, and Puzzle games but I enjoy a good Rougelike from time to time.  My favorite?  That is hard to settle on.  There's a lot of great old games and many good new ones but one title that holds a dear place in my heart is Final Fantasy 2/4, as well as Chrono Trigger (although that also sparked an abject hatred of time travel gameplay mechanics).  I still enjoy Hey You Pikachu but alas I lack the N64 as my brother claimed it with almost all the games.  I loved StarCraft with Brood Wars and Dungeon Keeper 2, which is why I have my eye on War for the Overworld.  The moment that game goes below 50% off I am going to shove it in my cart so fast even the Horned Reaper will spin.

I did recently get CrossCode.  In spite of following it for quite some time I just never saw it low enough in price to afford on my meager budget.  Thankfully it was part of a bundle recently so that settled that!

As for what sort of mage?  Well, going by Final Fantasy terms I'm a bit of a Red Mage minus the sword.  Destructive magics and some restorative spells while using my wand as a club from time to time.  In various games that allow multiple abilities in one character I tend to be a Spellblade Thief owing to the kleptomaniac habits early RPGs drilled into me and I favor dual-blades but prefer to rely on myself for restorative magic.
