So guys. Uh funny enough another idea come to mind so quickly I had to do it before it disappears. The presents that you get for each year do you predict what kind of present they are just by feeling it? Sometimes I can tell mine if it is a game or clothes or shoes. You can't help but to wonder what's in you wrapped presents right? And always with this your curiosity gets the best if you. So what are your stories to do with this? ^-^

Well, depends on the size and the touch. You can easily imagine when it's a book/comic/manga by its size, unless your family takes the time to box it (mine doesn't, now I know why I'm so lazy).

While I can predict I'll get something funny, the only other thing I can predict is clothes. Everything else is a mystery. Hopefully I've been a good boy to get the presents I want, but my point of view has been proved invalid more than once

Eniitan : I have a huge gamer family so I know that I'm gonna get at least one ps4,3ds, or wii u game or like a really cool hoodie like last year.

EX Palen : true very much true. I can predict some but others can be a mystery lol and it makes me wonder what it is. XD

Nope, I can't do that. Whenever we get gifts they just give the stuff to usx they aren't in any boxes or anything because boxes and gift wrap are too expensive for them.

Sometimes I am pretty sure of what I'm getting. Video Games and Manga are pretty easy to guess. But if it comes in an actual box, all bets are off!

Edit: Clothes are a really easy guess too. So there's always that. lol

Usually I know what I'm getting, not because of how the gift feels, but because I don't really ask for much to begin with so there isn't a huge list of things to guess from. Me and my sibling's used to go out of our way to disguise each others gift's, but we don't do it anymore. 

There have been times when I'll pick up a present and I can tell what it is. Other time's I have no idea what a gift is after feeling it. That's usually the case when it's something that I didn't specifically ask for. 

I don't bother because over half of my presents come from my list of things I want so there isn't much of a surprise.

The rest of the stuff that I might get is still fairly predictable at my age. I don't really get surprised nor do I really want to. I want to get something I actually want or need not something that someone thinks I might want.

My dad and brother are into gaming. My mum is to some extent so i usually get a game or something. my uncle always gets me a woolly jumper. Nowadays I tend to get money as me and my bro don't ask for things much. (I don't like asking for stuff. makes me feel bad.). When I did get presents I never really knew what i was getting for that reason alone.

I'm similar to Geeo. The thing is, once you get to be an adult rarely do you get super surprised about Christmas presents. Mainly because the presents people buy you are off of a list of things you wanted, or they just buy you random stuff that they think you will like...and when you are an adult rarely is it some huge surprise where you just can't contain your excitement lol

zanderlex : Aww....thats a bit sad. Can't you get a good length of Christmas wrappers for 1 dollar? I mean I go to a 99p shop and I get a good large length of wrapping paper that can last for 20 gifts or more.

DylanMcKaig : Wow your another lucky person. But getting a wooly jumper does the job I mean its cold! That socks and any wool clothing would be the best Christmas presents to get lol. I remember back in the day I hated getting wooly clothes every year as a present. Then I learn to understand why and was more grateful for it.

I don't really predict much of anything about the kinds of gifts for Christmas, but mostly every year, I normally get something to my interest such as electronics, like in 2013, I got a new TV and 2014, I got a $50 GameStop card, so, I might something interesting this year.

Normally, it isn't an element of surprise because half of the time, I already know what I'm getting like the TV.

Yes, all the time. Since we're not allowed to shake our presents, we feel around the edges and take measurements. Then, we use those measurements on stuff that's on our wishlist to see if our parents bought us anything off of there. When it's Christmas, I go hardcore on stockings and gifts. B)

Kuti_Kat : Oh wow that really must make you to wonder lol. And that's a nice way to stock your presents lol. In my family we never do that. Ours go under the Christmas tree then we give them out. ^^

I tend to not really speculate on what I'm going to get for Christmas. It only makes me more antsy for them and can only cause disappointment if I'm not correct.

I've started a family tradition of putting everything in really big boxes, regardless of size and taping them down So you can't shake them and figure out what might be in them. :p
I did it one year and my family starting doing it since. xD

So, no way of telling what any of us get until we open them.

Vanelan : YEP! We do the same thing as well van! Its always been that way for my family for years lol. So I an understand where you are coming from by saying that.

Vanelan : ...Heh. I honestly have never tried shaking them or looking at their size to figure them out. 90 percent of my gifts are usually games for one of two, MAYBE three consoles, so that's not really the surprise, anyway. The surprise is seeing WHAT games.

...At the same time, it seems that this year, things are looking a little different.

I only have one game that I actually want at the moment for Christmas (that'll actually be released before Christmas in the states; Paper Jam is certainly on my mind, but we don't get it before then), by the name of Super Mystery Dungeon, so I really don't know what else I'll get this year.

Eniitan : I forgot to mention that 1 year, since everyone was doing the giant box thing,I also put 5 boxes into each other and wrapped each one.
My mom was not amused after the 3rd box... but ultimately she did like the gift in the 5th box. :p

SWTerra : I usually get those myself, so I prefer someone gets me something interesting or let them surprise me. :3
