So, I'm doing my first Pokémon hack, and I'm working with Fire Red. I'm using PKSV for editing scripts, and currently all I'm doing is modifying character dialogue.

The extent of the modification involves running the text through the semi-popular site called Gizoogle. Because of how Gizoogle translates things, the text it spits out can be longer than what you fed it.

So far, most of my edits are confirmed to be working fine with a female protagonist, but seem to break with a male protagonist.

What I mean by this is that sometimes the text for the male gender will cut off (as shown with MOM) and it will begin using the text for the female gender, the TV also only displays parts of it's new text--with the fragment or mess depending on the player's gender--and the signposts for the player's house, Prof Oak's lab, and the TRAINER TIPS also break. Due to the nature of these errors, I'm confident that this is the result of an error with re pointing, or lack of re pointing.

If it's caused by something else, can someone let me know? If anyone's fixed something like this before, can I know how?
